Book Retha s Song

Download or read book Retha s Song written by Retha Bogard and published by Balboa Press. This book was released on 2012-10 with total page 448 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Retha's Song: A Rhapsody of the Soul, Retha hears her "God," the sun, speak to her for the first time at the age of seven. He speaks of a baby boy being born who lived far away from her and is her beloved. As long as she listens to God's voice and stays on her path and the young boy stays on his path, with God's guidance, they will meet. She strays many times from the voice of God and her path. During the journey, she is struck with a devastating Bipolar Disorder, and her young son is diagnosed with Crohn's disease, which nearly took his life. Her faith began taking new direction, and she began experiencing phenomenal supernatural events in her life. Her intuition became increasingly powerful; however, internal, mind-altering suffering kept plaguing her. Music, directed by the angels, was the compelling force that was the interwoven thread that could bring these two souls together, as they are both singers and songwriters. Could a miracle happen?

Book Live By the Spirit

    Book Details:
  • Author : Jerry Warren
  • Publisher : Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.
  • Release : 2019-01-07
  • ISBN : 1644160668
  • Pages : 215 pages

Download or read book Live By the Spirit written by Jerry Warren and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2019-01-07 with total page 215 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I was inspired to publish this mainly by my granddaughter. I had been writing for a few years already. The material was on three-by-five notebooks. My granddaughter gathered these notebooks and wanted to put them in a book for our family. While transferring the material form notebooks to paper, she suggested that I should try to get them published. That was about a year ago. So I decided to see if someone was willing to take a chance, and Christian Publishing came up. Many of my poems were inspired by, and the writing started while attending church service. I personally believe that the Holy Spirit was involved in some of these, if not all of these writings. They were about the constant battle between good and evil or darkness and light. For those who believe, it is an inspiration to continue and share belief when appropriate. The unbelievers will most likely never even look at this. Maybe it will inspire someone to turn to God and find the peace in the showdown of his light. The philosophical parts are the "To Be" verses. These may cause some to have a deeper thought about things we may witness on a daily basis. Most are common sense, some have more than one train of thought, and others are kind of blunt. Some of the poems are political in nature while others have a different aspect, all the while keeping in mind of Satan trying to inspire people to turn from God. The universal love of God and the giving of his life for each of us who believe allow us to start a new life through Jesus Christ, who suffered and died for our sin.
