Nevertheless we all experience setbacks, ordeals, pain, heartache, sickness, and yes, even death. God did not cause these things to happen; still, He is forever there continually offering strength, love, and courage to see us through. If you allow Him, He will pick you up, hold you close, and heal your broken life. The secret is to not let the hard times defeat you or keep you from the beauty of life and unconditional love of God. Without His help and constant love, I would not have been able to endure some of the trials that were put in my path. God waits silently for us to reach out to Him. He will not force His way into our life or alter our free will. He leaves the choice up to each of us. When you allow God to guide and strengthen you, you will win. We are all blessed even in the middle of our hardships. The secret is not to let those times keep you from the love God offers and the gifts God has in store for you. I chose God and a new life. I pray you will also choose Him and your new life. I assure you it is not the end, not the end of my story or your story. Never stop looking for the rainbow in every storm. It's there, it's real. It's the power and love of God through His Holy Spirit. My hope is Inspirations of Hope will help you to see God and His unconditional love for you in every moment of your life.

Book excerpt: This book features a concept for walking the road of life, a background into the origin of life, a perspective on the function of energy, and an insight into the energy of life. John is just a character through which to convey the concept of how to control ones existences while walking the road of life. He represents the six billion carbon life-forms on the third rock in this small galaxy that is the envelope of living materials of atoms and matter. These are presented in the form of Homo sapiens, the dominant species among the billions of species that reside on this rock. This provides an explanation on the special energy that fuels the brain and provides it life-giving abilities. It is an insight into the scientific knowledge and intelligence that is needed to understand the existence of life as it started and progressed. This offers some alternatives to the age-old beliefs that have dominated the social circles of existing, and it gives a method to control the hectic life into which the species has evolved. John lives in a world that just keeps increasing in the speed of existence necessary to survive. He is an example of the ability to change the route that has existed so long that it probably has become the norm instead of the exception. John is an example of the Homo sapien from the time of reproduction until the road of life is terminated and its lifes energy is transferred to be recycled for another generation.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Lure of Hope portrays a snap shot of the rise and fall of commercial surrogacy in India. By chance, the author’s fieldwork began around the same time NSW legislation in Australia extended its ban on commercial surrogacy to include overseas arrangements. Not long after returning from fieldwork in India, the Home Ministry of India changed the conditions of entry for intending parents (IPs) traveling to India for a surrogacy arrangement. From November 2013 IPs would have to apply for a medical visa, and could only obtain a medical visa for surrogacy if they had been married for at least two years. In 2016 the Indian Surrogacy (regulation) Act was introduced, commercial surrogacy was banned and foreigners were no longer able to enter into surrogacy arrangements in India. India was the first among a trail of ‘pop up’ reproductive destinations including Thailand, Nepal, Mexico, Cambodia and Laos. This book captures a moment in the recent history of the emerging global ‘surroscape’.Alongside the detailed account of the experiences of parents and surrogate mothers the author offers a careful analysis of regulatory systems governing surrogacy and embryo use in Australia and India. With the authors archival research in the UK she further analyses the regulation of surrogacy with cross cultural comparison of the relatively longer history of surrogacy regulation in the UK. Reproductive technologies and the many options these create are ahead of the law and while the law struggles to keep up we have a rich field of investigation. What do different regulatory systems tell us about how we see society, children, women’s bodies, reproduction and fecundity, kinship and family formation?

Book excerpt: David Hope is the leader of the Catholic wing of the Church of England. He is the son of a builder from Wakefield, Yorkshire who was appointed to the highest office in the Church of England because of his profound spiritual authority ( he is a man of great personal holiness) and because of his practical commonsense approach to day-to-day problems in the Church. Underneath the charm, the humour and the holiness is a very tough down-to-earth Yorkshireman. These great qualities are exemplified in this new collection of Hope`s sermons and addresses. Whether he is addressing the congregation of a fashionable Episcopal Church in New York, or a conference of tough-minded business men at the Institute of Management his ability to touch the hearts and minds of his audience is outstanding. `Within the space of one week`, writes David Hope `I can find myself at the Great Yorkshire Show, at the York Races, addressing a group of business executives on the subject of business ethics, presenting awards to apprentices on an engineering course and visiting the classes in a primary school in a deprived urban area`. It is the application of the Catholic gospel to such a variety of circumstances and people`s lives that has made David Hope the outstanding Christian leader that he is. At all times, he points the way to existential openness and to transcendence. His qualities are evident for all to read in this compelling new book.
