Book Why World War 3 or Nuclear Armageddon

Download or read book Why World War 3 or Nuclear Armageddon written by Garry R. Thompson and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2021-07-08 with total page 98 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “This is a book about understanding the truth about false prophets, the environmental failures, the crashing economic conditions, the military fiascos, the political arena corruptions, and the religions and their failures since civilized mankind. It explains in detailed analysis and historical facts how mankind has failed to amend his ways through the millennium to the point in time we are at today. Although most people aren’t aware of the dire situations and circumstances facing mankind and the earth at present, the purpose of this book is to enlighten, and to be an inspirational tool to bring individuals to consider the part they play themselves in life, and as a part of the wider community of mankind. This book’s inspirational purpose is to convince peoples and nations to amend and change their very abusive and highly destructive environmental ways, especially towards their God. But also change and amend how individuals mistreat and disrespect their duty towards their Creator. It is imperative that mankind considers all the environmental impacts that affect conditions on our earth, and change and amend their attitude towards life. Climate change is just one factor caused by mankind’s negligent actions and inactions resulting in environmental degradation globally. The author suggests that it may already be too late to prevent and stop an imminent and categorical third world war or nuclear holocaust from soon taking place on our beloved planet.”

Book Towards a World War III Scenario

Download or read book Towards a World War III Scenario written by Michel Chossudovsky and published by . This book was released on 2012 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The US has embarked on a military adventure, "a long war", which threatens the future of humanity. US-NATO weapons of mass destruction are portrayed as instruments of peace. Mini-nukes are said to be "harmless to the surrounding civilian population". Pre-emptive nuclear war is portrayed as a "humanitarian undertaking". While one can conceptualise the loss of life and destruction resulting from present-day wars including Iraq and Afghanistan, it is impossible to fully comprehend the devastation which might result from a Third World War, using "new technologies" and advanced weapons, until it occurs and becomes a reality. The international community has endorsed nuclear war in the name of world peace. "Making the world safer" is the justification for launching a military operation which could potentially result in a nuclear holocaust. Nuclear war has become a multi-billion dollar undertaking, which fills the pockets of US defence contractors. What is at stake is the outright "privatisation of nuclear war". The Pentagon's global military design is one of world conquest. The military deployment of US-NATO forces is occurring in several regions of the world simultaneously. Central to an understanding of war, is the media campaign which grants it legitimacy in the eyes of public opinion. A good versus evil dichotomy prevails. The perpetrators of war are presented as the victims. Public opinion is misled. Breaking the "big lie", which upholds war as a humanitarian undertaking, means breaking a criminal project of global destruction, in which the quest for profit is the overriding force. This profit-driven military agenda destroys human values and transforms people into unconscious zombies. The object of this book is to forcefully reverse the tide of war, challenge the war criminals in high office and the powerful corporate lobby groups which support them.

Book Gambling with Armageddon

Download or read book Gambling with Armageddon written by Martin J. Sherwin and published by Vintage. This book was released on 2020-10-13 with total page 624 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of American Prometheus comes the first effort to set the Cuban Missile Crisis, with its potential for nuclear holocaust, in a wider historical narrative of the Cold War—how such a crisis arose, and why at the very last possible moment it didn't happen. In this groundbreaking look at the Cuban Missile Crisis, Martin Sherwin not only gives us a riveting sometimes hour-by-hour explanation of the crisis itself, but also explores the origins, scope, and consequences of the evolving place of nuclear weapons in the post-World War II world. Mining new sources and materials, and going far beyond the scope of earlier works on this critical face-off between the United States and the Soviet Union—triggered when Khrushchev began installing missiles in Cuba at Castro's behest—Sherwin shows how this volatile event was an integral part of the wider Cold War and was a consequence of nuclear arms. Gambling with Armageddon looks in particular at the original debate in the Truman Administration about using the Atomic Bomb; the way in which President Eisenhower relied on the threat of massive retaliation to project U.S. power in the early Cold War era; and how President Kennedy, though unprepared to deal with the Bay of Pigs debacle, came of age during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Here too is a clarifying picture of what was going on in Khrushchev's Soviet Union. Martin Sherwin has spent his career in the study of nuclear weapons and how they have shaped our world. Gambling with Armegeddon is an outstanding capstone to his work thus far.

Book World War III and Its Possibilities

Download or read book World War III and Its Possibilities written by L. I. JIN WEI and published by . This book was released on 2023-05-24 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is the first volume of the international relations series "Peace, Security and the World" scheduled to be published before 2025, following the complete works of the "Christianity and the World" series published by the author in 2022.These two series of complete works are a summary of the author's decades of research on international relations.World War III, or WWIII, is the name given to a hypothetical large-scale third World military conflict after World War I and II. Since at least 1941, the expression has been used. Some apply it loosely to limited or minor conflicts, such as the War on Terror or the Cold War. Conversely, others assume that such a conflict would surpass previous world wars in scale and destructive impact.Because of the development of nuclear weapons by the Manhattan Project, which was used in the atomic bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima toward the end of World War II, and several nations' subsequent acquisition and deployment of them, the risk of a nuclear apocalypse decimating civilization and life on earth is a recurring theme in World War III speculation. Another important fear is that biological warfare might lead to many victims. It can occur purposefully or inadvertently, such as the unintended release of a biological agent, an unforeseen mutation of an agent, or its adaption to other species after usage. These large-scale cataclysmic occurrences, produced by sophisticated destruction technologies, can leave the earth's surface uninhabitable. The years 1914-1918 of World War I was regarded as "the war to end [all] wars" before World War II in 1939. World War I was commonly referred to as "The Great War" during the interwar period. It was widely believed that a global conflict of this magnitude would never happen again. The outbreak of World War II dashed hopes that humanity had "outgrown" the need for full-scale world wars.In 1945, the Cold War began, and with the spread of nuclear weapons technology in the Soviet Union, the possibility of a Third World conflict became more plausible. During the Cold War years, military and civil authorities in many countries anticipated and planned for the possibility of a Third World War. Scenarios included everything from conventional combat to limited or catastrophic nuclear war. Mutual Assured Destruction (MAD) was devised during the Cold War, according to which an all-out nuclear war would destroy all nations involved.

Book On World War 3 and World War 4

Download or read book On World War 3 and World War 4 written by Ronald Conte and published by . This book was released on 2015-05-19 with total page 216 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book of Roman Catholic speculative eschatology focuses on two sets of events in the near future: World War 3 and World War 4. As of this writing (May 2015), neither war has yet begun. And so the ideas in this book are speculation and opinion, not certitude or fact. This book envisions both World War 3 and World War 4 as part of that set of events call the tribulation, or the end times, or the apocalypse. World War 3 is the first event of the tribulation; it is represented in the Book of Revelation as the first of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The war is accompanied by other afflictions: civil unrest, famine, and death from many causes (and the fear of death). Some years after the end of World War 3, another world war occurs, much worse than any previous war: World War 4, a full-scale nuclear war. That great war is the sixth of the seven Seals in the Book of Revelation. The context of these two wars, within the apocalypse is explained. Many passages in the Bible are quoted and interpreted in their application to these wars and the end times. In addition, other events that occur around the time of these wars are discussed, including the inter-war period and the set of sufferings after World War 4. Chapter List: 1: The Meaning of the Wars 2: The Great Catholic Monarch and the Angelic Shepherd 3: The Danger of Radical Islam 4: Iran's Nuclear Program 5: The Start of World War 3 6: Scripture on World Wars 3 and 4 7: From the War to the Darkness 8: A Brief Time of Peace, Holiness, and Rebuilding 9: The Inter-tribulation Period The author, Ronald L. Conte Jr., is the translator of the Catholic Public Domain Version of the Bible, a conservative Catholic translation of the Latin Vulgate. He is also the author of the books: The Catechism of Catholic Ethics and Forgiveness and Salvation for Everyone. His other books cover diverse subjects in theology, including moral theology, Mariology, Biblical chronology, eschatology, and other topics.

The book includes survey chapters and case studies on Western Europe, the USSR, Japan and the USA. Looking at various strands of intellectual debate and at different media, from documentary film to fiction, the chapters demonstrate the difficulties to make the unthinkable and unimaginable - nuclear apocalypse - imaginable. The book will be required reading for everyone who wants to understand the cultural dynamics of the Cold War through the angle of its core ingredient, nuclear weapons.
