Earhart lived her life by this quotation; always encouraging women to break the glass ceiling in all areas of aviation and beyond, while setting astonishing records and performing incredible feats herself. The mystery of Earhart's disappearance is certainly interesting, but what is even more fascinating is the story of a woman who relentlessly chased her dreams in a world that constantly expected her to settle down; a woman who set an astonishing number of records for women pilots, but never begrudged another aviatrix an accomplishment; a woman who died pushing boundaries and opening doors for pilots everywhere.
