Book The human visual system as a complete solution for image processing

Download or read book The human visual system as a complete solution for image processing written by Alexandre Benoît (auteur en traitement du signal).) and published by . This book was released on 2007 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

This book was released on 1995 with total page 372 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book EXPLOITATION DES MECANISMES RETINO CORTICAUX POUR L ELABORATION D OUTILS DE TRAITEMENT D IMAGES BAS NIVEAUX

Download or read book EXPLOITATION DES MECANISMES RETINO CORTICAUX POUR L ELABORATION D OUTILS DE TRAITEMENT D IMAGES BAS NIVEAUX written by KAMEL.. BELKACEM-BOUSSAID and published by . This book was released on 1997 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: LE DEVELOPPEMENT ACTUEL DE LA NEUROBIOLOGIE PERMET D'ENVISAGER DES PERSPECTIVES NOUVELLES, ET EN MEME TEMPS DE COMPRENDRE LE FONCTIONNEMENT DU CORPS HUMAIN, PARTICULIEREMENT DU SYSTEME VISUEL. LES RESULTATS ACTUELS EXPLIQUENT COMMENT L'OEIL REAGIT A UN SIGNAL ET QUELS SONT LES DIFFERENTS TRAITEMENTS ET ANALYSES EFFECTUES AU NIVEAU DU CORTEX VISUEL. DANS LES METHODES CLASSIQUES DE TRAITEMENT D'IMAGES, LES PHENOMENES RETINO-CORTICAUX SONT SOUVENT NEGLIGES. LES SPECIALISTES DU TRAITEMENT NUMERIQUE DE L'IMAGE PREFERENT S'ORIENTER VERS DES MODELES MATHEMATIQUES TRES SOPHISTIQUES, ET IGNORENT COMPLETEMENT LES PHENOMENES NATURELS. DANS CETTE THESE, QUI COMPORTE SIX CHAPITRES, NOUS AVONS ESSAYE DE SOULIGNER L'INTERET DE LA PRISE EN COMPTE DES MECANISMES VISUELS POUR LE TRAITEMENT D'IMAGES BAS NIVEAU. EN NOUS APPUYANT SUR DES RESULTATS PSYCHOVISUELS ET NEUROBIOLOGIQUES, NOUS PROPOSONS DE NOUVELLES METHODES DE SEGMENTATION D'IMAGES, A SAVOIR SUR LE REHAUSSEMENT DU CONTRASTE, LE FILTRAGE PASSE BAS NON LINEAIRE, LA DETECTION DES CONTOURS, ET LA REQUANTIFICATION D'IMAGES. DE PLUS, NOUS AVONS INTRODUIT LE PARAMETRE TEMPS DONT NOUS AVONS MONTRE L'IMPORTANCE DANS LE TRAITEMENT D'IMAGES. CE PARAMETRE EST SOUVENT NEGLIGE DANS LES METHODES HABITUELLES. UNE ADAPTATION ADEQUATE DE CE FACTEUR PERMET D'EXTRAIRE L'INFORMATION PERTINENTE DE L'IMAGE ET REDUIT CONSIDERABLEMENT LE BRUIT DANS L'IMAGE. DE MEME LA NOTION DE CONTRASTE, LES FILTRES DE GABOR, LA LOI DE WEBER-FECHNER, LA LOI DE HOLLADAY, AINSI QUE LA TECHNIQUE DE DIFFUSION SONT DETAILLEES. CE TRAVAIL CONFIRME BIEN LES SOLUTIONS MISES EN OEUVRE PAR LA NATURE SONT A LA FOIS SIMPLES ET EFFICACES, ET QU'ELLES PEUVENT ETRE UNE SOURCE INEPUISABLE D'INSPIRATION POUR LES TRAITEURS D'IMAGES ET LES CONCEPTEURS DE SYSTEMES DE VISION ARTIFICIELLE EN GENERAL.

Book PROMOTION DE LA SANTE ET AUTONOMISATION DANS LE CONTEXTE AFRICAIN

Download or read book PROMOTION DE LA SANTE ET AUTONOMISATION DANS LE CONTEXTE AFRICAIN written by David HouŽto and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2014-02-26 with total page 327 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: Earthen architecture constitutes one of the most diverse forms of cultural heritage and one of the most challenging to preserve. It dates from all periods and is found on all continents but is particularly prevalent in Africa, where it has been a building tradition for centuries. Sites range from ancestral cities in Mali to the palaces of Abomey in Benin, from monuments and mosques in Iran and Buddhist temples on the Silk Road to Spanish missions in California. This volume's sixty-four papers address such themes as earthen architecture in Mali, the conservation of living sites, local knowledge systems and intangible aspects, seismic and other natural forces, the conservation and management of archaeological sites, research advances, and training.

Book Occupational Therapy Practice Guidelines for Older Adults with Low Vision

Download or read book Occupational Therapy Practice Guidelines for Older Adults with Low Vision written by Jennifer Kaldenberg and published by . This book was released on 2013 with total page 119 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The U.S. population is aging, and occupational therapy practitioners working with older adults must have the skills to address multiple health issues, including vision loss. Although typical aging does not cause low vision, four major causes of vision impairment are directly related to the aging process: (1) age-related macular degeneration (AMD), (2) diabetic retinopathy, (3) glaucoma, and (4) cataracts. Instances of these impairments are expected to double by the year 2050, making low vision a significant public health issue. This Practice Guideline includes occupational therapy assessment and intervention guidelines for older adults who have visual acuity impairments, visual field impairments, or both as a result of a low vision diagnosis. Screening, referral, and evaluation are covered for clients for central visual field impairments, such as AMD and cataract; peripheral field impairments, such as glaucoma, hemianopsia, and quadrantanopsia; and mixed visual field loss, such as diabetic retinopathy. This work can help occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants, as well as individuals who manage, reimburse, or set policy regarding occupational therapy services, understand the contribution of occupational therapy to treating older adults with low vision. Appendixes include selected diagnostic and billing codes and evidence tables.
