La maladie coronarienne est la forme la plus courante de MCV. Une des procédures associées à l'augmentation du taux de survie et au soulagement des symptômes des patients est le pontage aortocoronarien (PAC). Cependant, le risque cardiométabolique et les morbidités demeurent élevés chez les patients suivant la chirurgie. Cette étude avait pour objectifs d'évaluer: 1-l'impact d'un programme de modification des habitudes de vie sur le profil de risque cardiométabolique de patients ayant subi une chirurgie de PAC et 2-les contributions respectives des variations d'adiposité viscérale et de capacité cardiorespiratoire dans l'amélioration du profil cardiométabolique. Les résultats démontrent la pertinence des programmes de réadaptation cardiaque centrés sur l'amélioration de la capacité cardiorespiratoire dans la prise en charge du risque cardiométabolique de patients ayant bénéficié d'une procédure de PAC.
