Book usta the Inka love of Francisco Pizarro

Download or read book usta the Inka love of Francisco Pizarro written by Rafael Olivares and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2014-07-09 with total page 334 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Dr. Rafael Olivares uses historical fiction to transcribe the recently found personal diary of Ñusta Yupanqui. The daughter and sister of Inkas, Ñusta was also the lover of Francisco Pizarro, the conqueror of Peru. Although she was an Inka princess and gave Pizarro the only children he ever had, the official history of the Spanish conquest ignores her. This novel suggests that, because she was in the middle of the struggle, the successes described in the diary could be the real history of the Spanish domination of the Inka Empire. Ñusta’s narrative not only presents the historical interpretation of the conquest as seen by the defeated but also reveals the existence of a treasure still hidden in the Andes Mountains. This Inka treasure is bigger than anything found until now.

Book Francisco Pizarro

Download or read book Francisco Pizarro written by Daniel Toledo and published by The Rosen Publishing Group, Inc. This book was released on 2016-07-15 with total page 50 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This ruthless conquistador who toppled the Inca Empire came from humble origins. The illegitimate son of a soldier, Pizarro made his way to the New World to make his fortune. He took part in expeditions led by Alonso de Ojeda and Vasco Núñez de Balboa, before partnering up with Diego de Almagro and Hernando de Luque to lead an expedition of his own. The story of Pizarro’s strategically brilliant, if ethically problematic, conquest of the Inca will draw readers in, as will the tale of how infighting among Pizarro’s followers and those of Almagro led to Pizarro’s death.

Book excerpt: The Crimson Conquest is an adventure tale set in the time of the Spanish conquest of Peru. Though the story has been dramatized to entertain the readers, it is filled with actual figures and events and maintains a high degree of historical accuracy. The author explores the adventures of Francisco Pizzaro, a Spanish conquistador famous for his expeditions that led to the Spanish conquest of Peru. He served as mayor of the newly established Panama City for a few years and embarked on two failed expeditions to Peru. In 1529, Pizarro got permission from the Spanish crown to conquer Peru and went on his third expedition and succeeded in it. When the coast inhabitants opposed this invasion, Pizarro moved inland and found the first Spanish settlement in Peru, San Miguel de Piura. Ultimately, he entered the Inca capital of Cuzco and finished his conquest of Peru.
