Book Using Hypnotism Expert Tips from the Creator of the Manchurian Candidate Or Mind Controlled Assassin

Download or read book Using Hypnotism Expert Tips from the Creator of the Manchurian Candidate Or Mind Controlled Assassin written by G. Estabrooks and published by . This book was released on 2017-03-30 with total page 250 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since the days of Count Mesmer, discoverer of "mesmerism" (the name given to the strange condition of mind we now call the "hypnotic trance"), this mysterious force has been both exploited and discredited. The author of "Using Hypnotism," George H. Estabrooks (creator of the "Manchurian Candidate" or mind-controlled assassin for the U.S. military) does his best to bring credit to the field, despite its obvious exploitation.Estabrooks believes that hypnotism stands in the same category as chemistry, physics, and mathematics, and should not be shadowed by popular ignorance and suspicion. It is based on definite laws and principles, and has evolved as a true science - a branch of the great subject of the human brain and human consciousness. The main facts and rules upon which the science of hypnotism are based are presented in this book. However, certain highly specific technical applications of those rules are unsuited for popular consumption, and are only touched on lightly, such as the use of hypnotism in warfare. Despite the obvious dangers of such techniques, the author believes it is the duty of science to discover, analyze, and master the mechanisms involved, regardless of how the unscrupulous may use them. While Estabrooks explodes a good many myths and popular superstitions about hypnotism, he makes it clear that hypnotic trance can be easily induced in many people, even without their knowledge, and then used either for good and beneficent purposes or the opposite. To know the truth about this mysterious force is a vital matter for all of us.

Skilled hypnotists know what it takes to resist suggestions and it's not what most people would think. They have egos and ambitions just like everyone else. lot of hypnotists discover something that works really well and they'll want to keep it to themselves. I'm no different. The belief that we have control over our lives is one of our central needs that help us feel secure. But the fact is most people have very little real Will Power. For most people real Will Power is a myth, a story, even a fantasy. Facing this truth, for most people,is a humbling experience. The book Mind Control Hypnosis describes how skilled hypnotists bypass the human Will and get people to do things that seem out-of-the-ordinary. In the Korean War American prisoners were used in propaganda twice, first during the conflict, then at home. While in Chinese custody in North Korea, they were pressured to praise their treatment and criticize the war. When they came back, the Department of the Army and cooperative pundits said too many were weaklings who did not resist communist indoctrination or "brainwashing." Ex-prisoners were featured in a publicity campaign scolding the nation to raise tougher sons for the Cold War. This propaganda was based on feverish exaggerations that ignored the convoluted circumstances POWs were put in, which decisions in Washington helped create.

Book A Lie Too Big to Fail

Download or read book A Lie Too Big to Fail written by Lisa Pease and published by Feral House. This book was released on 2018-12-18 with total page 616 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In A Lie Too Big to Fail, longtime Kennedy researcher (of both JFK and RFK) Lisa Pease lays out, in meticulous detail, how witnesses with evidence of conspiracy were silenced by the Los Angeles Police Department; how evidence was deliberately altered and, in some instances, destroyed; and how the justice system and the media failed to present the truth of the case to the public. Pease reveals how the trial was essentially a sham, and how the prosecution did not dare to follow where the evidence led. A Lie Too Big to Fail asserts the idea that a government can never investigate itself in a crime of this magnitude. Was the convicted Sirhan Sirhan a willing participant? Or was he a mind-controlled assassin? It has fallen to independent researchers like Pease to lay out the evidence in a clear and concise manner, allowing readers to form their theories about this event. Pease places the history of this event in the context of the era and provides shocking overlaps between other high-profile murders and attempted murders of the time. Lisa Pease goes further than anyone else in proving who likely planned the assassination, who the assassination team members were, and why Kennedy was deemed such a threat that he had to be taken out before he became President of the United States.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The bestselling author of All the Shah’s Men and The Brothers tells the astonishing story of the man who oversaw the CIA’s secret drug and mind-control experiments of the 1950s and ’60s. The visionary chemist Sidney Gottlieb was the CIA’s master magician and gentlehearted torturer—the agency’s “poisoner in chief.” As head of the MK-ULTRA mind control project, he directed brutal experiments at secret prisons on three continents. He made pills, powders, and potions that could kill or maim without a trace—including some intended for Fidel Castro and other foreign leaders. He paid prostitutes to lure clients to CIA-run bordellos, where they were secretly dosed with mind-altering drugs. His experiments spread LSD across the United States, making him a hidden godfather of the 1960s counterculture. For years he was the chief supplier of spy tools used by CIA officers around the world. Stephen Kinzer, author of groundbreaking books about U.S. clandestine operations, draws on new documentary research and original interviews to bring to life one of the most powerful unknown Americans of the twentieth century. Gottlieb’s reckless experiments on “expendable” human subjects destroyed many lives, yet he considered himself deeply spiritual. He lived in a remote cabin without running water, meditated, and rose before dawn to milk his goats. During his twenty-two years at the CIA, Gottlieb worked in the deepest secrecy. Only since his death has it become possible to piece together his astonishing career at the intersection of extreme science and covert action. Poisoner in Chief reveals him as a clandestine conjurer on an epic scale.

Book The Covert Sphere

Download or read book The Covert Sphere written by Timothy Melley and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 2012-11-15 with total page 303 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In December 2010 the U.S. Embassy in Kabul acknowledged that it was providing major funding for thirteen episodes of Eagle Four—a new Afghani television melodrama based loosely on the blockbuster U.S. series 24. According to an embassy spokesperson, Eagle Four was part of a strategy aimed at transforming public suspicion of security forces into something like awed respect. Why would a wartime government spend valuable resources on a melodrama of covert operations? The answer, according to Timothy Melley, is not simply that fiction has real political effects but that, since the Cold War, fiction has become integral to the growth of national security as a concept and a transformation of democracy. In The Covert Sphere, Melley links this cultural shift to the birth of the national security state in 1947. As the United States developed a vast infrastructure of clandestine organizations, it shielded policy from the public sphere and gave rise to a new cultural imaginary, "the covert sphere." One of the surprising consequences of state secrecy is that citizens must rely substantially on fiction to "know," or imagine, their nation’s foreign policy. The potent combination of institutional secrecy and public fascination with the secret work of the state was instrumental in fostering the culture of suspicion and uncertainty that has plagued American society ever since—and, Melley argues, that would eventually find its fullest expression in postmodernism. The Covert Sphere traces these consequences from the Korean War through the War on Terror, examining how a regime of psychological operations and covert action has made the conflation of reality and fiction a central feature of both U.S. foreign policy and American culture. Melley interweaves Cold War history with political theory and original readings of films, television dramas, and popular entertainments—from The Manchurian Candidate through 24—as well as influential writing by Margaret Atwood, Robert Coover, Don DeLillo, Joan Didion, E. L. Doctorow, Michael Herr, Denis Johnson, Norman Mailer, Tim O’Brien, and many others.
