Book Unified Field Theory in a Nutshell1

Download or read book Unified Field Theory in a Nutshell1 written by Balungi Francis and published by Blurb. This book was released on 2021-03-18 with total page 62 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first successful field theory was created by the Scottish Physicist James Clerk Maxwell in the mid -19th century - the electromagnetic field theory. Then in the early 1900s, Einstein spent 30yrs of his life developing a unified field theory but all in vain. One limitation with Einstein's work was at first his rejection, and then his ignorance of quantum theory. Einstein was motivated by an intellectual need to unify the forces of nature. He felt very strongly that all of nature must be described by a simple force field theory from which all other forces can be deduced. In principle, if one had the formula of a Unified field theory at hand, it would be possible to derive every other natural law from them, including all the laws of physics, chemistry, even molecular biology. Without the use of the mathematics of the standard model and the notions of Einstein's general relativity theory, we postulate a single force field equation from which all other physics laws are derived.

Book excerpt: No scientific quest is as compelling as the search for the key to understand the universe—the elusive unified “Theory of Everything”—a theory so concise it could fit on a T-shirt. Lively and thought-provoking, Universe on a T-Shirt tells the fascinating story of the search for the Holy Grail of physics. Dan Falk places this intriguing story in its historical context, tracing the quest from ancient Greece to the breakthroughs of Newton, Maxwell, and Einstein, to the excitement over string theory and today’s efforts to merge quantum theory with general relativity. With as much emphasis on history as on science, Falk’s accessible approach is ideal for anyone intrigued by the advances in modern physics but still wondering what theoretical physicists are searching for, and why. Today’s physicists use sophisticated methods, but their goal—the search for simplicity—has not changed since the time of the ancient Greeks. Universe on a T-Shirt is filled with quirky personalities, brilliant minds, and bold ideas—high science and high drama. "An admirably concise and comprehensive overview of cosmology . . . [that] offers intriguing insights into the philosophic and personal outlooks motivating the scientists involved, from the ancient Greeks through Newton and Einstein . . . [and] Stephen Hawking and Ed Witten.”—Booklist

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thirty years ago Albert Einstein died, his dream of a theory that would unify the universe unfulfilled. He spent the last decades of his life searching for such a theory-a theory that would explain everything from elementary particles and their interac tions to the overall structure of the universe. But he failed, not because he didn't try hard enough, but because the attempt was ahead of its time. When Einstein worked on the problem liter ally nothing was known about black holes, white holes, sin gularities, the Big Bang explosion and the early universe, quarks, gauge invariance, and weak and strong nuclear forces. Today we know that all these things are important in relation to a unified theory, and that they must be incorporated in and explained by such a theory. Thus, in a sense, our problem is much more complex today than it was in Einstein's day. But scientists have persevered and as a result we are now tan talizingly close to achieving this long-sought goal. Important breakthroughs have been made. In this book we will look at these breakthroughs and at recent unified theories-theories that go by the names supergravity, superstrings, GUTs, and twistor theory. In order to understand the problem, however, we must begin at the beginning.

Download or read book Unified Field Theory written by and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2007 with total page 427 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Abstract: UNIFIED FIELD THEORY: The Fundamentals and Basics A single unity combines all known science theories concerning life, mass, matter and energy. Light energy occurs solely in cubed dimension. Electronic energy occurs only as a quadratic system. Every field operation such as a square, triangle, geometric surface, curve, vector, electronic circuit, equation, mirror surface, cube, sphere, time element, thermo-gravity temperature unit or gravity circuit occurs as a quadratic system. Fusion energy may be measured. The envelope sphere may be proven separately of the machine circle. Natural phenomenon may be explained with the utility of a single formula: for instance, the universe evolves through the infinite chain minerals and gases separately and simultaneously and operates and maintains itself without change to unity. Every unified field operation performed through the infinite chain beginning with the formation of dust and nebula and culminating in the completion of the element table such as sun and earth remains predictable and changeless over time. The Earth stores the complete element table. Light energy divides dark space at the first division of light to create the integral forces of gravity and time. The infinite chain evolves the sun and earth at the end of the relative cycle. Quadratic systems bear integral square roots; so that, the correct square root of light naturally measures all electronic circuits inclusive of polar gravity circuits. Light travels at relative speeds in the closed field at the first division and travels at a constant 186001.2mps in the closed field at the lower elastic limit of the electromagnetic spectrum. The formula: [d x √le = 8.25) = A1 = A2] codes and encodes the quadrature of the closed field, and d = 5280 for light energy. Light energy forms the centerline and works off the real line. The real line of ten numbers and the relative zones code the way in which the matrix forms patterns in endless cycles. Though the formula neither proves nor disproves the existence of an a priori intelligence that created them, the patterns and, invisible abstracts such as the infinite chain are not editable. The evolution of matter and the operation and maintenance of the universe and life may be proven. Once this newly discovered formula is proven correct, it may be used with confidence, and scientific experiments may be designed to test the formula. Byron R. Bowen

Book Are We There Yet The Search for a Theory of Everything

This book was released on 2011-03-25 with total page 130 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We live in exciting times. the frontiers of physics have been pushed to unprecedented horizons. the Holy Grail of fundamental physics research today is to find and describe a theory that explains, at least in principle, all physical phenomena, which in turns explains chemistry, biology and other material sciences. This, however, is not without controversy. the current candidate for such a theory is known as string or superstring theory. It suffers from the problem of being a purely mathematical science with no experimental backing and belief in it has been criticized as bordering on "faith" as opposed to scientific scrutiny. On the other hand the recent switching-on of our most advanced experimental tool, the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland, gives new hope in our search for clues as to what the universe is made of on a fundamental level. What happened exactly on, or even before, the Big Bang? Where are we coming from and where are we going? Questions that have never been addressed before by physicists. the game is afoot and the search is on. This book contains articles by leading physicists describing the current situation. Among them are proponents as well as opponents of string theory, proponents of other ideas, and experimentalists.

Book excerpt: Science and philosophy are not different realms. They are parts of the same Whole Truth. Each century, the heart and mind of man has thirsted for and attained ever higher and more generalized truths, to better explain more of all that exists around us. We now stand at a precipice, trying to bridge the narrow but stubborn gap between two major disciplines of science—Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity. Many have strived for a single Unified Theory that explains how the two work in unison. But perhaps mathematics, the most flexible of all languages, is an insufficient mechanism to explain such a theory in a single formula. Perhaps it will take the more common language of everyday tongues, to achieve this worthy goal. Brief but powerful language, may more clearly and meaningfully unify these two branches of science, into the trunk and heart of a unified whole. To explain not only the commonality between two branches of science, but also the more general commonality among all disciplines and human endeavors. This work is a summarized version, of an attempt to explain a thread that runs through everything that exists. And what each particular piece has In Common. This book is a Superfluid–Vacuum Theory (SVT) of Quantum Gravity.

Book Grand Unified Theorem

Download or read book Grand Unified Theorem written by G. A. Oyibo and published by . This book was released on 2001 with total page 292 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: General theorem providing a mathematical basis for a grand Unified Field Theory (GUT) is presented. The proof of the theorem is shown to be a recent work entitled 'Generalised Mathematical Proof of Einstein's Theory Using a New Group Theory', which has been reviewed by the American Mathematical Society. This work provides generic solutions to the unified field, from which both the Newtonian and Einsteinian gravitational fields seem to be recoverable. Furthermore, the electromagnetic field seems to be recoverable also from these solutions. Since the investigation does not assume the existence of particles a priori, matter could therefore be interpreted as high field intensity. Therefore, nuclear force fields (strong and weak) seem to be included. The solution seems to mathematically represent the modification of space-time predicted by Einstein's general relativity theory.

Book The Grand Unified Theory

Download or read book The Grand Unified Theory written by Chaul Ryu and published by Publish America. This book was released on 2004 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Grand Unified Theory is the unification theory of the four fundamental forces of nature (gravity, electromagnetism, strong nuclear force, and weak nuclear force). It is through the interactions between these four forces of nature that everything in our universe is created, including our DNA and the cells that compose our body. Einstein spent much of the later part of his life trying to unify these forces, but without success. The grand unified theory is also called the theory of everything, because it is supposed to answer many fundamental questions about our universe. The questions such as, why does our universe exist? Why is our universe composed of three-dimensional space and not five or six? What is energy? Why is there conscious life in our universe? What is the function of life in the universal order?

Book excerpt: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • The epic story of the greatest quest in all of science—the holy grail of physics that would explain the creation of the universe—from renowned theoretical physicist and author of The Future of the Mind and The Future of Humanity. When Newton discovered the law of gravity, he unified the rules governing the heavens and the Earth. Since then, physicists have been placing new forces into ever-grander theories. But perhaps the ultimate challenge is achieving a monumental synthesis of the two remaining theories—relativity and the quantum theory. This would be the crowning achievement of science, a profound merging of all the forces of nature into one beautiful, magnificent equation to unlock the deepest mysteries in science: What happened before the Big Bang? What lies on the other side of a black hole? Are there other universes and dimensions? Is time travel possible? Why are we here? Kaku also explains the intense controversy swirling around this theory, with Nobel laureates taking opposite sides on this vital question. It is a captivating, gripping story; what’s at stake is nothing less than our conception of the universe. Written with Kaku’s trademark enthusiasm and clarity, this epic and engaging journey is the story of The God Equation.

Book Foundations Of The Hyperunified Field Theory

Download or read book Foundations Of The Hyperunified Field Theory written by Yue-liang Wu and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2022-09-28 with total page 397 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The quest for the unification of fundamental interactions has become the most challenging frontier of sciences in the 21st century. This book presents a detailed analysis and systematic investigation of the foundations of the hyperunified field theory (HUFT) in light of the path integral formulation with the least action principle. Alternative to other unification theories, the starting point of HUFT is initiated from a simple notion that the universe is made of the fundamental building block which is always moving and obeys the basic rule. Such a rule is delved into in this book by proposing the maximum locally entangled-qubits motion principle together with the scaling and gauge invariance principle. These two basic guiding principles are demonstrated to lay the foundations of HUFT, which enable enables us to discuss a series of long-standing fundamental questions, such as: why does the fundamental building block of nature appear as an entangled qubit-spinor field? what brings about the fundamental symmetry of nature? how does the inhomogeneous hyperspin gauge symmetry govern all basic forces? what is the nature of gravity and space-time? how can the space-time dimension and qubit-spinor field be categorized? why do we live in a universe with only four-dimensional space-time? why are there more than one family of leptons and quarks? how does the early universe evolve to be inflationary? what is the nature of dark matter and dark energy?Foundations of the Hyperunified Field Theory will be of great interest to graduate and senior undergraduate students, junior and senior researchers in theoretical physics, quantum field theory, particle physics, gravitational theory, cosmology, as well as mathematical physics and general physics.
