Book Une introduction aux lasers organiques

Download or read book Une introduction aux lasers organiques written by Azzedine Boudrioua and published by ISTE Group. This book was released on 2017-10-01 with total page 208 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book Organic Lasers written by Marco Anni and published by CRC Press. This book was released on 2018-05-24 with total page 412 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the past 30 years, organic conjugated molecules have received a lot of attention in research because of their unique combination of active properties typical of semiconductors and the technological appeal typical of plastic materials. Among the different applications proposed for organic materials, organic lasers are quickly approaching the performance required in real devices, while research on novel active materials is still ongoing. The book covers the basic aspects of the measurement techniques of optical gain and amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) in organic films as well as the photophysics of organic materials that can be understood using ASE measurements. It reviews the recent advances in the development of new active materials for organic lasers as well as the actual state of the art of scattering-assisted random lasers and of strongly coupled organic microcavities, both promising interesting developments in the near future. Finally, it gives a detailed review of the state of the art of the organic lasers actually closest to real applications, namely external cavity lasers and distributed feedback lasers. The book is unique that it covers basic aspects, technological aspects, and systems, which are still a subject of basic science research.

Book Biomedical Aspects of the Laser

Download or read book Biomedical Aspects of the Laser written by Leon Goldman and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-11-09 with total page 241 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is a review of past and current studies and future plans of the Laser Laboratory in Cincinnati and some of the contributions of laser research groups in other medical centers. Special thanks are due to the Directing Physicist of the Laser Labora tory, R. James Rockwell. Without his advice, constant supervision and corrections, this enthusiastic investigator would continue to upset even many more people than he has done already. The excuse, of course, is to stimulate much needed interest and controlled research and development of the laser for biology and medicine. The Associate Research Physicist, Ralph Schooley, has worked with many phases of laser research but especially in Q spoiling, Raman spectroscopy, and the almost alchemy of holography. Holography, as of now, provides many opportunities for Gumperson's Law, "If anything can go wrong, it will. " Sincere appreciation is expressed to the Surgeons in the Laser Labora tory, who have supplied clinical and investigative surgical supervision often under great difficulties, Dr. V. E. Siler and Dr. Bruce Henderson. We are grateful for help from the Directing Biologist of the Laser Labo ratory, Edmond Ritter, the Director of Laser Neurosurgery, Dr. Thomas Brown and the Professor of Neurosurgery, Dr. Robert McLaurin, for important and basic work in laser neurosurgery. Special thanks are given to Robert Meyer, who has given most of the treatments in careful and skillful fashion, and his associate, Robert Otten.

Book Nouveaux Mat riaux Et Architectures de Dispositifs Pour Les Lasers Organiques L tat Solide

Download or read book Nouveaux Mat riaux Et Architectures de Dispositifs Pour Les Lasers Organiques L tat Solide written by Hadi Rabbani-Haghighi and published by . This book was released on 2011 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.
