Puis, les modèles HSM (Hard Soil Model) et SSM (Soft Soil Model) dans le code Plaxis sont décrits avant de détailler le modèle SSCM (Soft Soil Creep Model) qui sera utilisé dans la suite de cette étude. Ce modèle est validé sur différents types d'ouvrages et différents sols fins. Dans une quatrième partie, nous présentons la simulation de l'essai pressiométrique, et nous étudions la dépendance du module pressiométrique 'EM' et la pression limite 'p1' en fonction de : différents paramètres intrinsèques du sol (module de Young E ou de cisaillement G, coefficient de Poisson [nu], angle de frottement [phi], angle de dilatance [psi], C cohésion, coefficient de terre au repos K0...), des caractéristiques géométriques de la sonde (diamètre, hauteur).
