Nous avons étudié des alliages uranium-chrome, uranium-fer, uranium-molybdène, à faible teneur en élément d'alliage [...]. Grâce à de nouvelles techniques d'analyse thermique simple et de dilatométrie de trempe, nous avons saisi les transformations, parfois très rapides, qui se produisent au cours du refroidissement dans ces alliages que nous trempons, dans différents milieux, depuis les domaines [bêta] ou [gamma]. L'étude du revenu à la température ambiante que nous avons suivi par diffraction des rayons , dilatométrie isotherme et microcinématographie, nous a permis de mettre en évidence plusieurs transformations. En particulier, nous avons suivi la décomposition de la phase [bêta] retenue par trempe et montré que la vitesse de refroidissement est un facteur important de la cinétique de cette décomposition.
