Download or read book Touched written by Marie-Laure Valandro and published by SteinerBooks. This book was released on 2012-09 with total page 348 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Journal for Star Wisdom 2015 includes articles of interest concerning star wisdom (Astrosophy), as well as a guide to the correspondences between stellar configurations during the life of Christ and those of today. This guide comprises a complete sidereal ephemeris and aspectarian, geocentric and heliocentric, for each day throughout the year. Published yearly, new editions are available beginning in October or November for the coming new year. According to Rudolf Steiner, every step taken by Christ during his ministry between the baptism in the Jordan and the resurrection was in harmony with--and an expression of--the cosmos. The Journal for Star Wisdom is concerned with these heavenly correspondences during the life of Christ. It is intended to help provide a foundation for cosmic Christianity, the cosmic dimension of Christianity. It is this dimension that has been missing from Christianity in its two-thousand-year history. Readers can begin on this path by contemplating the movements of the Sun, Moon, and planets against the background of the zodiacal constellations (sidereal signs) today in relation to corresponding stellar events during the life of Christ. In this way, the possibility is opened for attuning, in a living way, to the life of Christ in the etheric cosmos. This journal begins with an article on the relationship between the zodiacal ages and the cultural epochs by Robert Powell, followed by Estelle Isaacson's article about the early stages of Christ's Ascension into cosmic dimensions. Claudia McLaren Lainson's article relates events of our time against the background of St. Paul's experience of Christ at the gates of Damascus. Richard Tarnas's article, "The Evolving Tradition," offers important perspectives on the development of astrology in our time. Also included is an article by Kevin Dann, which considers the universal significance of the vortex, following up on an indication by Rudolf Steiner. Nicholas Kollerstrom contributed the article "Power of the Sun," discussing research into a new understanding of our Sun. There are also two articles by Brian Keats that contribute to research into aspects of biodynamic farming in connection with cosmic rhythms. The monthly commentaries for 2015 are by Claudia McLaren Lainson, supported by monthly astronomical previews provided by Sally Nurney that offer opportunities to observe and experi-ence the stellar conÿ gurations physically during 2015. This direct interaction between human beings on Earth and the heavenly beings of the stars develops our capacity to receive their wisdom-filled teachings.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Psychic and master healer Meg Losey shares her alternative healing techniques for mind, body, and spirit in Touching The Light. Losey shows how channeled systems of healing stem from our perception, energy, and participation in our own journeys. She shares the techniques that she has learned from her human and etheric teachers that readers can use on themselves and others. How is it that miracles happen? Is spontaneous healing really possible? Why is it that some illnesses don’t show up in standard or even specialized medical testing, yet are very real in their effects? Can someone be “cosmically sick” with no apparent physical cause? How do the people and places around us affect us in our everyday lives? Can we intentionally and effectively create miracles of healing to change lives, or to effect positive outcomes even when situations seem hopeless? How can symbols of light be used to instantly attune someone’s entire energy system? Meg Blackburn Losey answers these questions and many others in this ground-breaking book. Touching the Light brings the reader into previously unknown worlds of healing and explains not only how energy healing is possible but how it works. It is the quintessential instruction manual for holistic healing in the third dimension and beyond!
Download or read book Golden Light The Interior Design of Nickey Kehoe written by Todd Nickey and published by Rizzoli Publications. This book was released on 2020-10-13 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A masterful combination of traditional inspiration with contemporary elegance. The sensibility of interior design firm Nickey Kehoe ranges from minimal to maximal, quiet to baroque, but always seeks to express the ephemeral feeling of a space. Designers Todd Nickey and Amy Kehoe are fascinated by how a room can come together to express its own persona, as though the design "just happened." Describing themselves as object-obsessed observers, Nickey and Kehoe pay keen attention to their clients' passions, preferences, and beloved pieces, juxtaposing elements and styles in deceptively simple ways. The result is interior design that appears as if it were a personal collection randomly put together, when in fact it is the product of their very mindful curating. Nickey Kehoe's studied but unfussy design is elegant but never staid, proud but humble, full of detail but resplendent with negative space. And then they add a bit of the unexpected--a combination of layered patterns and palettes, different time periods, humorous gestures, clever lighting--any element that keeps their impeccable sense of balance from becoming predictable or formulaic. This collection of residential interiors is for the curious, for lovers of studied but unfussy design, and for those who appreciate being surrounded by beautiful things with a story to tell.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: So you want to know what happens to you when you die. You want to know whether you go to heaven or hell, or do you just become consumed by total darkness and vanish from existence forever? Fine, then I will tell you. First, for all those people out there who think that when you’re dead, that’s it, finite, nothingness – this does not happen. How do I know this? Simple, I am dead. Touching the Rainbow tells the story of a young man, Pete, a victim of a dysfunctional childhood who is riddled with insecurity and self-doubt. He is not married, but has been engaged to his long-suffering girlfriend for 11 years. Suddenly, fate delivers a severe blow and he is killed in a car crash. To his horror, he becomes a trapped soul. His salvation arrives in the form of a celestial helper who tells him that it is all the emotional problems he suffered on earth that are keeping him from moving on. To free his soul, he must accomplish a mission that will force him to face up to all the fears and regrets he tried to shy away from when he was alive. However, in doing this, he also discovers some shocking revelations about his past – and a startling twist to the meaning of his former life... Touching the Rainbow has been inspired by the works of James Herbert; the simplistic yet realistic style of Herbert’s The Rats led Paul to emulate the same style. The book will appeal to fans of paranormal romance fiction – as well as readers with a deep sentimental core and a natural curiosity about the mysteries of life.
