Book Toothache and Gum disease naturally treated with Homeopathy and Schuessler salts

Download or read book Toothache and Gum disease naturally treated with Homeopathy and Schuessler salts written by Robert Kopf and published by BookRix. This book was released on 2018-05-23 with total page 86 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Toothache is caused when the nerve to a tooth is irritated or inflammed. It often radiates to the cheek, jaw, jaw joint and ears. The pain is sharp and throbbing, sometimes accompanied by swelling around the tooth, fever and headache. Causes of toothache include tooth decay, abscessed tooth, tooth fracture, a damaged filling, an infection of the tooth's nerve, a cavity (mostly created by bacteria), cracks in the enamel, exposed dental necks, inflammation of the jaw and sinuses, heat and cold stimuli, grinding teeth and infected gums. Gum disease is an irritation and inflammation of the tissues and bones that surround and support the teeth. The two types of gum disease are called gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis affects the gums, the tissue that surrounds the teeth and causes red, swollen and tender gums that bleed easily. Periodontitis is a severe gum disease that spreads below the gums to damage the tissues and bone that support the teeth. Periodontitis causes the gums to shrink back from the teeth, leaving pockets between the teeth and gums where germs (bacteria) can grow and damage the bone that supports the teeth. Teeth look longer, may become loose and fall out. In this homeopathic and naturopathic adviser, I will give you recommendations how to treat toothache and gum disease naturally with Homeopathy and Schuessler salts (also named cell salts, tissue salts). I will present you the most proven homeopathic remedies and Schuessler salts, including the appropriate potency and dosage. Naturopathy works holistically. It does not treat single symptoms only. It treats the whole body, mind and soul. I wish you much success, joy in life and especially your health.

Download or read book Cataract treated naturally with Homeopathy and Schuessler salts tissue salts written by Robert Kopf and published by BookRix. This book was released on 2018-07-17 with total page 111 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cataract is a clouding of the normally clear lens of the eye that impairs vision. It occurs, when there is a buildup of protein in the lens that makes it cloudy. Cataracts usually form slowly and don't disturb the eyesight early on. As this eye disease continues to develop, the clouding becomes denser and involves a greater part of the lens, preventing a sharply defined image from reaching the retina. As a result, the vision becomes blurred. Cataracts usually develop in both eyes. However, the cataracts aren't totally symmetrical. Causes of cataracts include age-related changes, trauma, heredity, other eye conditions, allergies, high blood pressure, metabolic diseases, exposure to sunlight or radiation, exposure to toxic substances and chemicals, poor nutrition, liver- and kidney diseases, circulatory disorders and hormonal imbalance. In this naturopathic adviser, I will give you recommendations how to treat and prevent cataract naturally with Homeopathy, Schuessler salts (also named cell salts, tissue salts) and herbal tinctures. I will present you the most proven homeopathic remedies and Schuessler salts, including the appropriate potency and dosage. Naturopathy works holistically. It does not treat single symptoms only. Book Medicinally Important Trees

Download or read book Medicinally Important Trees written by Aisha Saleem Khan and published by Springer. This book was released on 2017-06-07 with total page 309 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book provides researchers and advanced students associated with plant and pharmaceutical sciences with comprehensive information on medicinal trees, including their identification, morphological characteristics, traditional and economic uses, along with the latest research on their medicinal compounds. The text covers the ecological distribution of over 150 trees, which are characterized mainly on the basis of their unique properties and phytochemicals of medicinal importance (i.e., anti-allergic, anti-diabetic, anti-carcinogenic, anti-microbial, and possible anti-HIV compounds). Due to the incredibly large diversity of medicinal trees, it is not possible to cover all within one publication, so trees with unique medicinal properties that are relatively more common in many countries are discussed here in order to make it most informative for a global audience. With over 100 illustrations taken at different stages of plant development, this reference work serves as a tool for tree identification and provides morphological explanations. It includes the latest botanical research, including biochemical advancements in phytochemistry techniques such as chromatographic and spectrometric techniques. In addition, the end of each chapter presents the most up-to-date references for further sources of exploration.

Book Alternative Medicine for the Elderly

Download or read book Alternative Medicine for the Elderly written by P. Cherniack and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2013-04-18 with total page 470 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The explosion of information about complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) has demanded the attention of health professionals and responsible consumers, in cluding the elderly. Increasingly, medical schools are providing education about CAM. This book brings together for academicians and interested mainstream practitio ners much of the current information on CAM and its role in the health of the elderly. The individual chapters are thoroughly researched and quite readable, even for patients and the lay public concerned with the state of the evidence and art supporting CAM's role in prevention and management of illness and well-being. This book provides edu cators with much necessary information needed to prepare coursework and learning activities. Although definitive data are lacking regarding efficacy and even safety of CAM methodologies, many chapters in this book summarize the existing evidence in a us able way. The topics analyzed range from well-accepted therapies, such as vitamin E for dementia and zinc tablets for the common cold, to far less conventional therapies such as transcendental meditation. The conclusions are often surprising, but well-presented and defended. Even the most highly controversial areas, such as the use of acupuncture to treat low back pain and osteoarthritis of the knee, are thoroughly and fairly re viewed. Finally, the chapters address some of the political issues that challenge CAM. These issues include who should be allowed to practice a CAM discipline whose efficacy is not based on the scientific method, and some of the state-to-state variations in prac tice standards and licensure.
