I have endeavored to present the book in a lucid manner which will be easier to understand by all the engineering students. About the Book According to many streams in engineering course there are different chapters in Engineering Mathematics of the same year according to the streams. Hence students faced problem about to buy Engineering Mathematics special book that covered all chapters in a single book. That’s reason student needs to buy many books to cover all chapters according to the prescribed syllabus. Hence need to spend more money for a single subject to cover complete syllabus. So here good news for you, your problem solved. I made here special books according to chapter wise, which helps to buy books according to chapters and no need to pay extra money for unneeded chapters that not mentioned in your syllabus. PREFACE It gives me great pleasure to present to you this book on A Textbook on “Z-Transform” of Engineering Mathematics presented specially for you. Many books have been written on Engineering Mathematics by different authors and teachers, but majority of the students find it difficult to fully understand the examples in these books. Also, the Teachers have faced many problems due to paucity of time and classroom workload. Sometimes the college teacher is not able to help their own student in solving many difficult questions in the class even though they wish to do so. Keeping in mind the need of the students, the author was inspired to write a suitable text book providing solutions to various examples of “Z-Transform” of Engineering Mathematics. Presents applications in engineering to show the adoption of dynamical system analytical methods Provides examples on the dynamics of automobiles, aircraft, and human balance, among others, with an emphasis on physical engineering systems MATLAB and Simulink are used throughout to apply the analysis methods and illustrate the ideas Offers in-depth discussions of every abstract concept, described in an intuitive manner, and illustrated using practical examples, bridging the gap between theory and practice Ideal resource for practicing engineers who need to understand background theory and how to apply it

Book The General Theory of Alternating Current Machines

Download or read book The General Theory of Alternating Current Machines written by Bernard Adkins and published by Springer. This book was released on 2013-11-11 with total page 294 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book on The General Theory of Electrical Machines, by B. Adkins, which was published in 1957, has been well received, as a manual containing the theories on which practical methods of calculating machine performance can be based, and as a text-book for advanced students. Since 1957, many important developments have taken place in the practical application of electrical machine theory. The most important single factor in the development has been the increasing availability of the digital computer, which was only beginning to be used in the solution of machine and power system problems in 1957. Since most of the recent development, particularly that with which the authors have been concerned, has related to a. c. machines, the present book, which is in other respects an up-to-date version of the earlier book, deals primarily with a. c. machines. The second chapter on the primitive machine does deal to some extent with the d. c. machine, because the cross-field d. c. generator servesas an introduction to the two-axis theory and can be used to provide a simple explanation of some of the mathematical methods. The equations also apply directly to a. c. commutator machines. The use of the word 'general' in the title has been criticized. It was never intended to imply that the treatment was comprehen sive in the sense that every possible type of machine and problem was dealt with.

Book Normalization of Multidimensional Data for Multi Criteria Decision Making Problems

Download or read book Normalization of Multidimensional Data for Multi Criteria Decision Making Problems written by Irik Z. Mukhametzyanov and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-07-25 with total page 314 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book presents a systematic review of multidimensional normalization methods and addresses problems frequently encountered when using various methods and ways to eliminate them. The invariant properties of the linear normalization methods presented here can be used to eliminate simple problems and avoid obvious errors when choosing a normalization method. The book introduces valuable, novel techniques for the multistep normalization of multidimensional data. One of these methods involves inverting the normalized values of cost attributes into profit attributes based on the reverse sorting algorithm (ReS algorithm). Another approach presented is the IZ method, which addresses the issue of shift in normalized attribute values. Additionally, a new method for normalizing the decision matrix is proposed, called the MS method, which ensures the equalization of average values and variances of attributes. Featuring numerous illustrative examples throughout, the book helps readers to understand what difficulties can arise in multidimensional normalization, what to expect from such problems, and how to solve them. It is intended for academics and professionals in various areas of data science, computing in mathematics, and statistics, as well as decision-making and operations.

Book Optimal Control Systems by AA Fel Dbaum

Download or read book Optimal Control Systems by AA Fel Dbaum written by and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 1966-01-01 with total page 463 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this book, we study theoretical and practical aspects of computing methods for mathematical modelling of nonlinear systems. A number of computing techniques are considered, such as methods of operator approximation with any given accuracy; operator interpolation techniques including a non-Lagrange interpolation; methods of system representation subject to constraints associated with concepts of causality, memory and stationarity; methods of system representation with an accuracy that is the best within a given class of models; methods of covariance matrix estimation; methods for low-rank matrix approximations; hybrid methods based on a combination of iterative procedures and best operator approximation; and methods for information compression and filtering under condition that a filter model should satisfy restrictions associated with causality and different types of memory. As a result, the book represents a blend of new methods in general computational analysis, and specific, but also generic, techniques for study of systems theory ant its particular branches, such as optimal filtering and information compression. - Best operator approximation, - Non-Lagrange interpolation, - Generic Karhunen-Loeve transform - Generalised low-rank matrix approximation - Optimal data compression - Optimal nonlinear filtering
