Download or read book The Memoirs of Billy Shears written by Thomas E. Uharriet and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2015-12-13 with total page 682 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: William Shepherd ("Billy Shears") took over The Beatles and the McCartney estate on 16 September 1966, going from "Billy Pepper" of Billy Pepper and the Pepper Pots, to The Beatles' new "Sgt. Pepper" of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Taking creative control of the band from John made William "the new boss," saving the band, but tormenting all involved. The Memoirs is the source of the "Paul is Dead" material reprinted in Billy's Back! and of the insights in Beatles Enlightenment, but also includes the darker aspects: Paulism, Satanism, and Biblical humor--calling The Beatles the four-headed 666 Beast. The Memoirs is the first fully encoded full-length book. As part of that encoding, it contains the world's largest acrostic, and is the world's premier of word-stacking. By reading The Memoirs, you will learn the secret meanings of their songs, and will recognize Paul and William's distinct physical differences, personality differences, and vast differences in musical skills.

Download or read book The Beatles Conspiracy written by David Malocco and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2014-11-29 with total page 380 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Beatles were a British rock band formed in Liverpool, England in 1960, consisting of John Lennon, James Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ritchie Starkey. They are widely regarded as the greatest and most influential band of the rock era. In the early 1960s, their enormous popularity first emerged as Beatlemania. From 1965 onwards, The Beatles produced what many critics consider their finest material, including the innovative and widely influential albums Rubber Soul (1965), Revolver (1966), Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1967), The White Album (1968) and Abbey Road (1969). They eventually disbanded in 1970, and John, Paul and George and to a somewhat lesser extent Ringo, enjoyed successful musical careers on their own and with others. According to statistics from the RIAA, The Beatles are the best-selling music artists in the United States, with 177 million certified units. They have had more number-one albums on the British charts and sold more singles in the UK than any other musical act in the world. In 2008, the group topped Billboard magazine's list of the all-time most successful "Hot 100" artists. As of 2014, they hold the record for most number-one hits on the Hot 100 chart with twenty. Most people know that part of their story but not many know the conspiracy theory which has shadowed them for nearly fifty years. Proponents of that theory claim that Lennon, Harrison, Starr and their manager Epstein were also involved in the biggest cover-up in rock and roll history when they conspired, with others, to conceal from the general public, the death of their most popular member, bass guitarist James Paul McCartney and replaced him with an impostor. It may seem utterly preposterous but in 2009 two eminent Italian scientists conducted a forensic examination of the pre-1966 McCartney and post-1966 McCartney and determined that it was highly unlikely that Sir Paul McCartney is the original Beatle James Paul McCartney. This book examines the documentary evidence upon which this theory is based, including over one hundred hidden messages about the death deliberately left by The Beatles themselves in their album covers, lyrics and in backword masking. As Heather Mills McCartney said on national TV: "Something so awful happened. People don't want to know what the truth is because they could never ever handle it, they'd be too devastated." Prepare to be shocked as we unravel the greatest rock and roll mystery ever. But before reading, ask yourself one question: Can you handle the truth?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A strange rumor surfaced in the mid to late '60s about Paul McCartney. Songs were inspired and written, conspiracy theories rapidly developed, and people wondered whether the unthinkable was true: Did Paul McCartney die? If so, who was the person posing as Paul? Three university marketing students writing a report on The Beatles accidentally stumbled upon this long-buried mystery while researching the band. Twenty-two-year-old Max, his ex-girlfriend Lil Lane, Lil's rowdy and beautiful friend Nancy, and Chele, Nancy's sister, decide to find out if this decades-old theory is true or false. As they begin to get closer to what really happened, they'll run into those who have an agenda for letting sleeping dogs lie. But why? Will the real Paul McCartney please step forward? That is, if he can. This smartly written fiction blends '60s pop culture with present-day opinions and attitudes of an information-obsessed youth culture. Capturing the nostalgic hippy mindset and fickle nature of youth, along with tidbits of historical relevance, I Buried Paul will resonate with those who lived through that magical time, and those who need to be inspired and informed about a musical phenomena and era that will live on forever. Download or read book Solid State written by Kenneth Womack and published by Cornell University Press. This book was released on 2019-10-15 with total page 298 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Music writer Womack delivers a fascinating, in-depth look at the creation of Abbey Road, the Beatles' penultimate album released 50 years ago.... Womack displays a detailed and insightful analysis that fans will hope he applies to the band's other albums.― Publishers Weekly Acclaimed Beatles historian Kenneth Womack offers the most definitive account yet of the writing, recording, mixing, and reception of Abbey Road. In February 1969, the Beatles began working on what became their final album together. Abbey Road introduced a number of new techniques and technologies to the Beatles' sound, and included "Come Together," "Something," and "Here Comes the Sun," which all emerged as classics. Womack's colorful retelling of how this landmark album was written and recorded is a treat for fans of the Beatles. Solid State takes readers back to 1969 and into EMI's Abbey Road Studio, which boasted an advanced solid state transistor mixing desk. Womack focuses on the dynamics between John, Paul, George, Ringo, and producer George Martin and his team of engineers, who set aside (for the most part) the tensions and conflicts that had arisen on previous albums to create a work with an innovative (and, among some fans and critics, controversial) studio-bound sound that prominently included the new Moog synthesizer, among other novelties. As Womack shows, Abbey Road was the culmination of the instrumental skills, recording equipment, and artistic vision that the band and George Martin had developed since their early days in the same studio seven years earlier. A testament to the group's creativity and their producer's ingenuity, Solid State is required reading for all fans of the Beatles and the history of rock 'n' roll.
