Those who reject the Trinity by either dividing the substance or confounding the persons are guilty of heresy--since God exists in a Trinity of persons and the Trinity is grounded in the gospel--whereby God chose the elect, the Son redeemed the elect, and the Spirit seals the elect. Thus, learning the doctrine of the Trinity is an indispensable responsibility for every Christian. Shockingly, but not surprisingly, there are many professing believers who have never heard a full sermon or a lecture on the Tri-Personality of God. This is due to the fact that many of their pastors are either unlettered or ill-advised about the Trinity. So when many church members hear their pastors reference the Trinity in one of their sermons, it will typically be shallow, inept, or benighted. The implications are devastating: an ignorant pastor will always produce ignorant church members. But if professing Christians and their pastors remain ignorant about what God is and who He is, they will be unequipped and will have no ability to defend the multi-personality of God, the deity of Christ, or the gospel when confronted by Unitarians. The Glorious Triunity of God is not an exhaustive research book, but is a family worship and Bible study guide on the doctrine of the Trinity. This book was written for Christians to utilize as another family worship resource. This is important for two reasons: (1) the chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever, (2) and all three persons in the Godhead are to be equally worshiped and served. The Glorious Triunity of God was also written for pastors and Bible study groups in local churches, and for professing Christians to study with their families and friends so they can rightly divide the Word and to ensure that the Unity in Trinity and the Trinity in Unity is worshiped.
