They who expect to find a detail of the horrors of which Ireland has been the theatre, will be disappointed those have been already written in the blood of our Countrymen; your sufferings have flowed from the System I have therefore mounted to the source, and detailed the System itself. Convinced that such a System should not, nor cannot, be longer continued; convinced that Murderers must capitulate, and lay down their arms at the feet of the Nation they have outraged, I have' hastened to give a State of our Country.
