Book The Thermodynamic Properties of Nitrogen from 64 to 300 K Between 0 1 and 200 Atmospheres

Download or read book The Thermodynamic Properties of Nitrogen from 64 to 300 K Between 0 1 and 200 Atmospheres written by Thomas R. Strobridge and published by . This book was released on 1962 with total page 188 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The internal energy, enthalpy, entropy, and specific volume of molecular nitrogen are derived and tabulated as functions of temperature and pressure. In addition to a mathematical model for the pressure-volume-temperature surface, accurate functions are given for the representation of the vapor pressure, density of saturated liquid, specific heat of saturated liquid, and the specific heat at zero pressure. Tubular values in British units over the same pressure and temperature are available as Supplement A of this Technical Note.

Book Thermodynamic Properties of Gaseous Nitrogen

Download or read book Thermodynamic Properties of Gaseous Nitrogen written by Harold William Woolley and published by . This book was released on 1956 with total page 128 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The tables of thermal properties of molecular nitrogen that have been prepared in an NBS-NACA series have been grouped together herein for convenient use. They include the thermodynamic functions for the gas, both real and ideal, the transport properties for a gas, and the vapor pressure of the liquid and the solid. A table of ideal-gas properties is presented, including the specific heat at constant pressure, enthalpy, entropy, and the free-energy function; and a table giving these same properties for atomic nitrogen is also included. The tables of the real-gas thermodynamic properties include density, compressibility factor, entropy, enthalpy, specific heat at constant presssure, ratio of specific heats, and velocity of sound at very low frequency.

Book excerpt: Excerpt from Thermophysical Properties of Nitrogen From the Fusion Line to 3500 R (1944 K) For Pressures to 150000 Psia (10342 X 10 5 N/M2) The work reported in this technical note was carried out in two parts in different locations. The equation of state work was carried out at the University of Idaho (section 2) while the transport and other properties (sections 3-9) work was carried out in the Cryogenic Data Center of the National Bureau of Standards in Boulder, Colorado. In this joint publication we have assembled under a single cover values for many of the properties of nitrogen which until now, if available at all, have been scattered through the world' 3 literature. The tabular data presented here represent best values for each property at this time. Computer programs to calculate the properties presented in these tables are also available. Inquiries should be addressed to the National Bureau of Standards. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
