Div. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Fort Worth, Texas) and an S. T. M from Yale University (New Haven, Connecticut). Dale is an avid reader, an amateur chess player and an itinerant preacher. He spends much of his time observing that "sitting quietly, doing nothing, Spring comes and the grass grows by itself."
