A lo manifestado tiene que añadirse la dificultad que ofrece juzgar una obra teatral sin haberla visto en escena, como ocurre forzosamente á un joven con muchas de las primeras ó menos importantes de Tamayo. Es cierto que el ejemplar le dice al lector Si la obra tiene las condiciones de pensamiento, sentimiento, caracteres, diálogo fácil, lenguaje correcto y expresión, pero también lo es que sólo en la representación gozan tales obras de la plenitud de su belleza. Basta lo indicado para que sea indulgente con este ensayo quien pasare los ojos por sus páginas.
