Book Revelation First Vision Son of Man

Download or read book Revelation First Vision Son of Man written by Jerry Whitehead and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-03-16 with total page 37 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is focused on Jesus's message to the seven churches. It's as relevant to us today as it was in John's day. In Revelation 1:3, Jesus says to keep the things which are written in it.Ask yourself, "What do you know about what Jesus Christ wants for you to do?" You may say, "I believe, I ask forgiveness of my sins, go to church, and that's it." Then you need to take a journey to discover what Jesus wants from us.It's easy to skim through a passage and say, "I got it," Just as I became engaged in researching and studying God's word. Hopefully, this results in a greater understanding of the passage. The key is the Bible itself; the Old and New Testaments are treasure troves of supporting verses. You will find the true meaning that God and Jesus Christ are telling you.In Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." I hope and pray that you will find this book helpful as you read through it and discover the true treasure.

Book Revelation Text by Text and Word to Word Tome 1

Download or read book Revelation Text by Text and Word to Word Tome 1 written by Enock Saintil and published by . This book was released on 2019-08-10 with total page 558 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: REVELATION TEXT BY TEXT AND WORD BY WORD - Tome 1 John is the one who received the revelation of Jesus Christ on the island of Patmos. In the message he receives three times are present: the past, the present and the future. Forces opposed to Christ are identified as: Dragon, the Beast and the False Prophet. These three powers are active on earth in the midst of men. The book includes in its development four series of seven: Seven Churches, Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets and Seven Flutes. These four series are very elaborate. But, the book is built around a system of seven that we care to understand. A last-minute message is inserted for us: (1). Seven letters to (2). seven churches (1-3); (3). Seven seals to (4). Seven trumpets (4-11); (5). Seven vials (15, 16); (6). Seven candlesticks (12, 20); (7). Seven stars (1:16, 20); (8). Seven angels (1:20); (9). Seven spirits (1: 4); (10). A lamb with seven horns and (11). Seven eyes (5: 6); (12). Seven lamps (4: 5); (13). Seven thunders (10: 3, 4); (14). A red dragon with seven heads and; (15). Seven crowns (12: 1); (16). Seven mountains (17: 9); (17). Seven kings (17:10). The number seven is quite conspicuous throughout the Bible. The Sabbath is the seven day. The Levitical system of the Old Testament was built on a cycle of sevens. Let's recapitulate this system: (1). Every seventh year, a Sabbatical year; (2). Every seventh sabbath was followed by a jubilee year; (3). Every seventh month was especially holy, having three feasts; (4). There were seven weeks between Passover and Pentecost; (5). Passover feast lasted seven days; (6). At Passover fourteen lambs (twice seven), were offered everyday; (6). At tabernacles fourteen lambs (twice seven), daily, and seventy bullocks; (7). Pentecost seven lambs were offered. Jericho felt with seven trumpets for seven days, marched around the walls blowing the trumpets seven times on the seven day (Joshua 6: 1-27). Naaman dipped in the Jordan seven times (2Kings 5: 1-14). The Bible begins with a book of sevens about the ultimate destiny of creation. Seven is the favorite letter in God's alphabet. There is seven days in a week. Seven notes in music. Seven colors in the rainbow. It is often used in the same way as it is, and it must have the same significance. Symbolically, it is thought to stand for completeness, a unit, fullness, and totality. The book of Revelation contains seven blessed's, which are called seven beatitudes. Whether this was of design, or just so happened, we do not know.1.Blessed is he that reads this prophecy (1: 1-3).2.Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord (14:14).3.Blessed is he that watches for the Lord coming (16:15).4.Blessed are those bidden to Lamb's marriage supper (19: 9).5.Blessed is he who has part in the first resurrection (20. 6).6.Blessed is he that keeps the words of this book (22. 7)7.Blessed are they washing their robes (22.14). Moreover, we must count through the different developments of this book on a very powerful symbolism: (a). Colors; (B). Numbers; (C). Animal figures, etc. Some things are literal and clearly clear, others more difficult to understand, even seeming somewhat obscure. The commissioning angel, sent from heaven to Jean, intervenes to explain some of them. Then John was ordered to write these revelations and send them to the churches. The understanding of this book requires a solid knowledge of the scriptures. Revelation is a complete book. Its interpretation requires knowledge in: geography, mathematics, history, news, general culture, etc. The Lord will take Care of!Good Reading!

Book The Revelation of Jesus Christ Volume 1

Download or read book The Revelation of Jesus Christ Volume 1 written by Mary Lewis and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2017-12-07 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation is for Today, to Meet Tomorrow Everybody knows that the Revelation of Jesus Christ has a controversial history of interpretation. It is the culmination of all prophecy, but more than that, it is about right now and how to make YaHavah and Jesus the true center of your life. The Revelation is more than a study of the Antichrist and the last seven years of tribulation. It is a study on how to overcome the temptations of Satan to be ready for Jesus' return. It is about what Jesus said to Nicodemus. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, In truth, I say to you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of YHVH. The church has not received the full knowledge of what being born again means. That knowledge is in the Revelation that was written about fifty years after the church began. The seven letters reveal some of the problems the churches were encountering. Those problems centered on a condition of rebirth that they did not fully understand. Today's churches are no different. YaHavah reveals that condition in the Revelation. It is time for the Church to review denominationalism and get back on first-century track. Join Ms. Lewis in the most revealing story you will ever read about the Book of Revelation -- and about life right now.

Book The Seven Letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation

Download or read book The Seven Letters to the Seven Churches in Revelation written by James Thomas Lee, Jr. and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2014-04-15 with total page 238 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Apostle John had been exiled to the isle of Patmos because of his stand for Christ. So on the Lord's Day, Jesus had come to him and had commanded him to write the words that appear in the book of Revelation. Revelation 1:10-11 says, "I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea." Each of the seven letters had followed a simple but consistent pattern. They had begun with a simple greeting that had stated specific characteristics of Jesus. Those characteristics had been indicated to the specific church based upon what the Lord through John would be saying to the church. Following that opening characteristic, Jesus had reported to each church an assessment of where they had been spiritually. He had then given them a prescription for fixing their problems. Lastly, He had concluded each letter by giving the people in each church a promise to those that HAVE overcome. In chapter one of this book, the author, date, and occasion for the writing of the book of Revelation will be given. What evidence exists to actually show that the Apostle John had written the book? The four most popular approaches for understanding the book of Revelation will also be discussed. Had the seven letters just been written to the seven churches or is there an expanded viewpoint about their applicability? In chapter two, a consideration of Proconsular Asia will be provided. That is the area where the seven churches had been located. So in looking at it, one can better understand when the seven churches had been established. One can also better understand the spiritual problems that had been prevalent in that region. In chapters three through nine, each of the seven letters will be carefully examined. Then chapter ten will present any final thoughts and conclusions that one might draw from this kind of study. As always the purpose of this book is to honor and glorify the Lord. He is the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega. He is worthy of ALL honor and glory.

Book Revelation

  • Author : Grant R. Osborne
  • Publisher : Baker Books
  • Release : 2023-10-17
  • ISBN : 1493448447
  • Pages : 987 pages

Download or read book Revelation written by Grant R. Osborne and published by Baker Books. This book was released on 2023-10-17 with total page 987 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation contains some of the most difficult passages in Scripture. Grant Osborne's commentary on Revelation interprets the text while also introducing readers to the perspectives of contemporary scholarship in a clear and accessible manner. Osborne begins with a thorough introduction to Revelation and the many difficulties involved in its interpretation. He discusses authorship, date of writing, and the social and cultural setting of the work. He also examines elements that complicate the interpretation of apocalyptic literature, including the use of symbols and figures of speech, Old Testament allusions, and the role of prophetic prediction. Osborne surveys various approaches commentators have taken on whether Revelation refers primarily to the past or to events that are yet future. Rather than exegeting the text narrowly in a verse-by-verse manner, Osborne examines larger sections in order to locate and emphasize the writer's central message and the theology found therein. Throughout, he presents his conclusions in an accessible manner. When dealing with particularly problematic sections, he considers the full range of suggested interpretations and introduces the reader to a broad spectrum of commentators. Revelation seeks to reach a broad audience with scholarly research from a decidedly evangelical perspective.
