Book The Purification Papers

Download or read book The Purification Papers written by Daniel Briggs and published by Daniel Briggs. This book was released on 2012 with total page 164 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This original 2012 review by an Amazon Top 1000 Reviewer was redacted from the Amazon Website. "Author Daniel Briggs has done a lot of work to put together this remarkable compilation of evidence that we are inevitably heading toward a major shift in consciousness. I was very impressed: he must have read hundreds of books in his research of this compilation. It includes history going back to matriarchal times, biblical times, esoterica, alien influences, the Mayans (of course), the Bible code, Terence McKenna's analysis of the I-Ching, and much, much, MUCH more! Modern events such as 9-11 and OJ Simpson are weaved into the prophecies. Though I have read a great deal on the vast majority of these topics, I was nonetheless surprised and shocked by tidbits of info, such as the concept that men actually leave energy lines in women during sex, and these take 7 years to go away. Astronaut Edgar Mitchell went into Samadhi during his space flight. I was most astonished to learn that even hard-headed engineering types have concluded that this shift is inevitable as we head toward zero point energy. There is hope on the horizon! I love how Mr. Briggs suggests we will develop siddhis (powers) after the shift: 'Attendance at the Hogwarts schools of the new Golden Age promises inconceivable thrills as we develop our God-given siddhis in a natural and controlled environment. Without doubt, the most popular class will be flying. Sporadic levitations have been recorded throughout history, mostly connected with an overpowering euphoric vision: rapture.' My only complaint about this book is that there is no introduction for us to get the overall picture of what the book is about, nor is there an author bio. But if you want a summary of all things pointing to a major shift, this is a great read!" Susan Schenck, Amazon Top 1000 Reviewers

Book Water Purification

Download or read book Water Purification written by Mousa M. Nazhad and published by . This book was released on 2017-10-25 with total page 200 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A large segment of the population in undeveloped and developing countries drink untreated or partially treated water. Annually, 6 to 60 billion cases of gastrointestinal illnesses are continuously reported due to safe drinking water, and over 1.6 million people die due to these water-borne diseases. Owing to increasing concern about global water-related diseases associated with drinking water, finding an affordable and suitable way of water treatment is of great importance. Filtration is a promising point-of-use water treatment. Currently, most water filtration membranes are made of synthetic polymers derived from non-renewable resources. Negative factors like climate change, many different environmental pollutants and the reduction of oil resources give rise to increase the demand of biodegradable products over non-renewable resources. This book introduces a novel, cost effective and biodegradable filter; a so-called cellulose foam filter. The cellulose foam filter is a novel porous cellulosic derivative made via a foam-laid process and modified in order to act as a water filter. Improvements of wet strength performance and the biocidal activity of filters are two main tasks presented in this book. Wet strength improvement is achieved through a furnish formulation, and the addition of agents and antimicrobial activity are preformed using polymeric antimicrobial agents, guanidine-based polymers and -poly lysine.

Book Protein Purification Protocols

Download or read book Protein Purification Protocols written by Shawn Doonan and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2008-02-02 with total page 406 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Hans Neurath has written that this is the second golden era of enzymology {Protein Science [1994], vol. 3, pp. 1734—1739); he could with justice have been more general and referred to the second golden age of protein chemistry. The last two decades have seen enormous advances in our understanding of the structures and functions of pro teins arising on the one hand from improvements and developments in analytical techniques {see the companion volume, Basic Protein and Peptide Protocols, in this series) and on the other hand from the tech nologies of molecular genetics. Far from turning the focus away from protein science, the ability to isolate, analyze, and express genes has increased interest in proteins as gene products. Hence, many laborato ries are now getting involved in protein isolation for the first time, either as an essential adjunct to their work in molecular genetics or because of a curiosity to know more about the products of the genes that they have been studying. Protein Purification Protocols is aimed mainly at these newcom ers to protein purification, but it is hoped that it will also be of value to established practitioners who may find here techniques that they have not tried, but which might well be most applicable in their work. With the exception mainly of the first and last chapters, the format of the contributions to the present book conform to the established format of the Methods in Molecular Biology series.
