Economic considerations may force the use of some other crop in conjunction with tulips. Two bulb growers years ago established dairies in connect-ion with their bulb nurseries for the dual purpose of rotation and fertilizer supply. It may be said, therefore, that at the present time the problems con fronting the prospective tulip producer relate to the business aspect of the subject and to compassing the few requirements of the crop rather than any concern about the adaptability of the tulip to our recognized bulb-growing regions.
