In our last issue we set forth the facts of the case as far as we had the means at hand. We there found that the prevailing price of cotton for many years, at the seaboard, is eight cents a pound; and from all the statements there set forth, from cotton growers and statistical tables, we found that it actually costs nearly, if not quite, that amount.
