Revelation 14: 9, 10. Many Christian denominations believe the prophecy points to the papacy as the beast. However, in scripture, the Papal system has never been a beast, is not a beast and will never be a beast. To call that system the beast is to take the word of God on a very long stretch. This horn functions both politically and as a Christian Church. It persecuted and killed any Christian who disagrees with its dogmas. The word says the Saints shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time and he would come to his end unto the end. Nowhere in scripture is it indicated that this horn power will regain its dominion to persecute the saints of God as it did for over twelve hundred years. Then who is the beast? Committed search through the Bible and dedicational prayers are the essential instruments that will facilitate the required wisdom for the calculation of the number of the beast. This book aims at defining the terms - image, name, mark and number with the view to integrating their literal meanings and symbolical significance in attempt to calculate the number of the beast. In achieving this objective, an in-depth approach of the Word of God has been implemented. In short, several prophetic Scriptures have been utilized, in order to provide whatever is useful and necessary in achieving complete understanding of this grossly misunderstood subject matter. The following general thesis statement is submitted as the central assertion of this theological paper: Despite what Christianity (in general) affirms, The Mark of The Beast is not 666. The presupposition, then, rests solely upon the following Claim: The Biblical phrase, Six hundred threescore and six (as appears within the original Greek Textus Receptus [The New Testament Greek readings manuscript from which the King James Version was translated]), which is being presented here, is not meant to be taken as being the literal number 666. In other words, this written-out "numerical value" is not to be translated into English integer format, meaning 666. But, it is to be translated into English from the Greek letter format. Therefore, I will provide sound Biblical Evidence that The Mark of The Beast is Chi (X), that The Name of The Beast is "Perfect Creature of The Earth" (interpreted as being "Perfect One"), and that The Number of The Beast is 6 (possibly written as VI). With this said, the current viewpoint of the Church, including Orthodoxy Christianity, then, may be said to be laden with numerous Scriptural inconsistencies, to say the least! In other words, after comprehensive Biblical research, I have found a substantial amount of error that has been taught within Christianity (generally speaking) as being truth. Now, contrary to standard expository writing guidelines, please allow me to state that it is my professional opinion that this has occurred due to a lack of Biblical understanding, faulty Biblical research, as well as spiritual blindness on the part of our 21st-Century Church patriarchs-causing, unfortunately, improper hermeneutical and exegetical doctrinal teaching with reference to The Mark of The Beast, The Name of The Beast, and The Number of The Beast. As you read through this Single-perspective, Oneness Theological Argument, I ask that you sincerely pray-seeking after The Wisdom of God-asking God to unveil His truth, and to provide complete understanding of this profound subject matter. But most importantly, to reveal the spiritual significance of The Mark of The Beast, The Name of The Beast, and The Number of The Beast as clearly cited within Revelation 13:16-18.

She begins with an informative and often surprising introduction to the origins of number systems: pre-Roman Europeans, for example, may have had one based on twenty, not ten (as suggested by the English word "score" and the French word for 80, quatrevingt --four times twenty), while the Mayans had a system more sophisticated than our own.
