The word Revelation means uncover.It brings to light. Jesus Christ reveals Himself to man.If you keep this in mind, the mystery of Revelation is really no mystery at all. What was not known about God can be known. As we work our way through the Scripture, I'll keep the focus on the literal interpretation of text. Because our sinful nature wants to deny the revealed truth of God, my goal is not to read in between the lines. I think the words speak for themselves. We are all guilty of taking the words of others out of context, so lets not do that with the words of God either. Remember, the value of the text is found when it makes sense.Sometimes what is true is hard to accept but it's valuable to know. For example, we all die. Revelation is simple to understand when we keep it simple and avoid over thinking it.I have included some famous names inside and outside the church. Names known. I did this on purpose. I didn't do it to be mean. I didn't do it to hurt the feeling of those that follow them. Read and hear this important Bible verse.
