He moved to Tauton, Massachusetts, ca. 1637, to Windsor, Connecticut, ca. 1640, and to Northampton, Massachusetts, ca. 1660. He married twice and was the father of seventeen children. He died at Northampton ca. 1699. Record gives some descendants of his son, Jedediah Strong (1637-1733) of Lebanon and Coventry, Connecticut, chiefly following line of descent to Harry Lee Strong (1878-1960) of Benton County, Iowa; Portland, Oregon; and Sedro-Woolley and Tacoma, Washington.
