"Thou art wearied in the Multitude of thy counsels." Isaiah (47:13) Babylon destroys her own land, with pollution and waste: "Because thou hast destroyed thy land" (Isa14: 20) "I have polluted my inheritance and given them into thy hand" (Isaiah 47:6). Ask yourself this: How could an early day prophet know about pollution since there was no such thing in ancient times? The answer may already be obvious.
