This is the agency performing the state management of monetary, banking and foreign exchange operations; issuing money, banking of credit institutions, and providing monetary services to the Vietnam Government. With the survey and opinion analysis of 252 officers, the research results have shown 6 groups of factors affecting job satisfaction of employees including Nature of work; Working conditions; Evaluation of work performance; Wages and welfare; Training and promotion opportunities; Relationships at the workplace. Besides, some individual characteristics of workers also affect job satisfaction. The analysis and evaluation of factors affecting employee satisfaction contribute to the development and implementation of effective measures to improve job satisfaction of the officers, create labor motivation, and bring higher labor productivity.

They are the most precious and important asset among all the asset of any organization. Job satisfaction is a part of employee life satisfaction. So the employee job satisfaction becomes one of the top priority issues for the banking fraternity. Therefore the study aims to recognize the impact of recognition, work itself, possibility of growth, salary, working condition and job security on job satisfaction of operational level employees' of private and public banks in Anuradhapura bank town area, Sri Lanka. Also, the study focuses on the differences of job satisfaction of the private and public sector employees. The public and the private sector operational level employees who are worked in Anuradhapura town area were considered as population and sample of 100 out of them were selected. For this study a structured questionnaire was used as a data collection tool. The result shows that work itself, recognition, possibility of growth, salary, working condition and job security are job satisfied factors for operational level employees. Work itself is ranked as most satisfying factor for operational level employees and salary is the second then the possibility of growth. In addition, researcher has found that there is a significant difference between job satisfaction of the private and public sector employees. Public sector employees are high satisfied about their job than the private sector employees.

Book excerpt: This study investigated the impact of core drivers of job satisfaction including promotions, increment and bonuses, supervisor's' support, career development and advancement opportunities and working conditions on two dependent variables i.e. job performance and employees retention. For this purpose a comparative study is conducted in education and banking sector of Karachi. A sample of 100 employees was collected from each sector then results were analyzed through Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling. The results found both the education and banking sectors are different in terms of chosen human resource policies Secondly, it has been found that results are dissimilar for both sectors in terms of different hypotheses. Career development, compensation and promotions are insignificant key divers of job satisfaction for job performance. While, working conditions, compensations and co-workers are insignificant key divers of job satisfaction for employees' retention. Result's implication is different for banks' managers and educational institutions' managers based on significance of coefficients however human resource policies vary in different business settings. Indeed, more the job satisfaction better chance of good employees' performance while it reduces the intention to switch and keep the human talent retained.
