Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As a Christian minister and psychometrician for the last 30 years, I have come to the humble realization that it is extremely difficult for Christians that are born into financially challenged families to become financially successful on a sustainable basis. My work in general life and financial counseling exposed me to the critical role of mental heredity and genetic thought transfer in the formation of people's financial self-image. A person's financial self-image is an internal design or mold for the financial destiny of that person. It works as a mental thermostat that defines the limits of financial abundance that can be attracted or retained on a sustainable level in the life of a person. Financial self-image is the greatest liability of children that are raised in financially challenged families because, while the children may be diligent, highly talented, and well educated unless the invisible poverty mindset driving their financial behaviors is broken through conscious or unconscious intervention, the financial destiny of they will still end up in financial poverty or at best financial mediocrity. This is irrespective of the amount of income they earn or the financial opportunities they come across in life. The question is why? You see, the results or output you manifest in any area of life is the product of your dominant thought process. Pro 23:7a For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Have you ever wondered why all the generations of the children of Israel that left Egypt never made it to the promised land apart from Joshua and Caleb? The reason is very simple. It is easier to take a man out of prison than it is to take the prison out of a man. It is easier to take a man out of slavery than to take slavery out of a man. It took God 24 hours to break the children of Israel physically from 400 years of slavery, but it took Him 40 years of wilderness reprogramming and mental renewal to take the slave self-image and slavery mindset away from the children of Israel. When my wife and I started our ministry about 20 years ago, we were able to attract many zealous, intelligent, hardworking, talented, and young educated people whose major challenge was poverty. We thought them to pray, to meditate on the word of God, and to believe God for the healing of their bodies. They were getting good results in all these areas, and they began to challenge us about what God can do to help them succeed in their finances so that they can be more useful in the kingdom. Because of my knowledge of human behavior, I knew that they needed to change their financial self-image to be able to achieve their objective. So, we took all of them through a financial psychometric test called Findex (Financial Success Index). The objective of the psychometric test was to let them see objectively what their financial self-image looks like and how it is sabotaging their ability to achieve financial success. After the test, we took them through a series of financial empowerment programs which was both scripture-based and science-backed. Today most of the young people that went through the training are financially successful. A few of them have become millionaires who are very active and supportive of the kingdom. This book, The Hidden Gold - 9 Essential Money Skills for Christians is the documented and updated version of the manual we used for their training. We have used the book over and over again to positively change the financial mindset of Christians for a godly and balanced financially prosperous life. I will encourage all Christians especially young and middle-aged Christians who desire to achieve and sustain financial prosperity to read this book and practice what it says.

Book Adopted for Life Updated and Expanded Edition

Download or read book Adopted for Life Updated and Expanded Edition written by Russell Moore and published by Crossway. This book was released on 2015-10-14 with total page 169 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The doctrine of adoption—God’s decision to adopt sinful men and women into his family—stands at the heart of Christianity. In light of this, Christians’ efforts to adopt beautifully illustrate the truth of the gospel. In this popular-level and practical manifesto, Russell Moore encourages Christians to adopt children and to help other Christian families to do the same. He shows that adoption is not just about couples who have struggled to have children. Rather, it’s about an entire culture within evangelicalism—a culture that sees adoption as part of the Great Commission mandate and as a sign of the gospel itself.

This book was released on 2016-01-15 with total page 178 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Your destiny is not just to be blessed; but being blessed, that you may ultimately become a blessing." In Covenant Secrets of Financial Blessing, the author, Oluwasina Emmanuel Oluwaleke unveils the covenant secrets to access the wealth and riches God has provided for the fulfillment of your life's purpose and destiny. They are called covenant secrets because they work based on your covenant relationship with the Father through our Lord Jesus Christ. The wealthy people have secrets that are only known to them. But thanks to God who has seen your struggles in this area; the secrets of prosperity are laid bare throughout the pages of this book. This is a practical handbook that shows you how to tap into the vast riches of Christ, which was placed within your reach through His finished work on the Cross-in order for you to live the life that God has called you to live upon the earth without compromise. The author's intention is to show us how to be financially blessed, without compromising our integrity, despite the vicissitudes that characterize the economy of our nation and the world at large. God wants you to stand out, not just spiritually but financially too. Like Isaac in the land of the Philistines, God wants you to become a voice and a witness in a hostile and volatile economic environment. This book presents you with God's blueprint for your prosperity in such an environment. "God is raising Isaac-like sons in this prophetic hour; sons whose financial empowerment would not be tied to the economic policies, measures, and potentials of any nation. Their lives shall be independent of the vicissitudes that mark the economy of the nations. However, their financial strength and base shall be in their understanding and faithful walking in the covenant. To this Isaac generation, the covenant would become to them a position of strength to fight the economic adversity of their nations. Furthermore, it would offer them spiritual leverage to stand out economically in the midst of the prevailing economic disaster. The divine purpose for the rise of this Isaac generation is that they might become powerful witnesses to the Lord in the nations as Isaac was among the Philistines." "God has abundance of good works He is doing upon the earth today and He does them through His children. But how can His children do these good works if they lack financial blessing on their lives? Therefore it is God's design and intention for His children to have financial abundance so they can give cheerfully and generously to every good work, for God loves a cheerful giver! Abundance is for good works, not personal consumption." "In order to reap bountifully, you must learn the habit of sowing bountifully. Generosity begets prosperity, meanness begets poverty. Faith to receive is in the faith to give. Faith to take is embedded in the faith to lay down."

Book Economic Empowerment of Women for Sustainable Development

Download or read book Economic Empowerment of Women for Sustainable Development written by Dr. V. Malarvizhi and published by EduBubs Publishing House. This book was released on 2024-03-25 with total page 426 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the global pursuit of equitable progress, the empowerment of women emerges as not merely an ethical imperative but a pragmatic necessity. The imperative of women's economic empowerment finds resonance throughout history, woven into the fabric of social movements, policy reforms, and economic progress. From the suffragette movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries to the landmark conventions on women's rights and development in the latter half of the 20th century, the trajectory of gender equality has been marked by both triumphs and trials. The 1995 Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing stands as a watershed moment, galvanizing global commitments to women's empowerment and setting forth an ambitious agenda for action. Subsequent milestones, including the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015, further underscore the intertwined nature of gender equality and sustainable development. Over the years though the researchers, academicians and government have tried to find ways and means for economic empowerment of women many aspects of women economic empowerment-entrepreneurship and innovation, work place equality, global partnership etc are yet to be completely resolved. Little attention has been paid to the above aspects by the researchers, policy makers and development planners. The present volume titled “"Economic Empowerment of Women for Sustainable Development" containing 32 papers covers different aspects and issues related to economic empowerment of women and sustainable development. It is an initiative for shedding light on the pivotal role women play in fostering sustainable economic development. The main themes with the volume covers are: financial inclusion, education skill development, technology and digital inclusion, leadership, decision making, policy and advocacy. The volume will provide women’s input and health for the academicians, researchers, policy makers and government officials.
