Mr. W. Takes great interest in the genealogy of the family, and we ought to feel under great obligations to him for the information he has given us. He writes: I have traced pretty thoroughly the descendants of Eleazar, Sen, and to considerable extent some of the other bran ches, descendants of John, Sen. I have frequently been to the farm in Merrimack where your ancestor, Jonathan Cummings, Sen, settled and died, and have copied from the town records there the births, deaths and marriages that are recorded.
