Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Praise for The Three Skills of Top Trading "Professor Pruden's new book, The Three Skills of Top Trading, is unquestionably the best book on a specific trading method and the necessary attributes for trading that I have read. His logic, understanding of human foibles, and use of the Wyckoff method of trading are broadly referenced, readable, understandable, and entertaining." - Charles D. Kirkpatrick, II, CMT, coauthor of Technical Analysis: The Complete Resource for Financial Market Technicians, Editor of the Journal of Technical Analysis, and board member of the Market Technicians Association "At long last, someone has taken the time and effort to bring the work and insight of Wyckoff to wider public attention-and Hank Pruden has done so masterfully, with great clarity and eloquence. Hank has taken the best of Wyckoff's work, combining it with the essential aspects of trader discipline and psychology, to provide a highly readable and particularly useful guide to trading. MUST READING!" - Jacob Bernstein, www.trade-futures.com "Hank Pruden puts all of the elements needed for successful trading into one volume. This book not only belongs on every trader's shelf but should be close enough for continuous reference." - Martin J. Pring, President, www.Pring.com "Dr. Pruden has brought together his lifetime of work in developing a modern approach to analyzing and trading the markets built upon classic market analysis from the early part of the twentieth century and topped off with modern-day tenets of behavioral finance and mental state management." - Thom Hartle, Director of Marketing for CQG, Inc. (www.cqg.com) "I usually consider a book to be well worth reading if it gives me one paradigm shift. I believe that this book will give the average investor a lot more than just one." - Van K. Tharp, PhD, President, Van Tharp Institute

This book was released on 2014 with total page 229 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is widely recognized that in some of his letters, Paul develops a Christology based on a comparison between Adam and Christ, and that this Christology has antecedents in Jewish interpretation of Genesis 1-4. Felipe Legarreta gives careful attention to patterns of exegesis in Second-Temple Judaism and identifies, for the first time, a number of motifs by which Jews drew ethical implications from the story of Adam and his expulsion from Eden. He then demonstrates that throughout the "Christological" passages in Romans and 1 Corinthians, Paul is taking part in a wider Jewish exegetical and ethical discussion regarding life in the new creation.
Download or read book One and Many in Aristotle s Metaphysics written by Edward C. Halper and published by Parmenides Publishing. This book was released on 2005-01-12 with total page 401 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The problem of the one and the many is central to ancient Greek philosophy, but surprisingly little attention has been paid to Aristotle's treatment of it in the Metaphysics. This omission is all the more surprising because the Metaphysics is one of our principal sources for thinking that the problem is central and for the views of other ancient philosophers on it.The Central Books of the Metaphysics are widely recognized as the most difficult portion of a most difficult work. Halper uses the problem of the one and the many as a lens through which to examine the Central Books. What he sees is an extraordinary degree of doctrinal cogency and argumentative coherence in a work that almost everyone else supposes to be some sort of patchwork. Rather than trying to elucidate Aristotle's doctrines-most of which have little explicitly to do with the problem, Halper holds that the problem of the one and the many, in various formulations, is the key problematic from which Aristotle begins and with which he constructs his arguments. Thus, exploring the problem of the one and the many turns out to be a way to reconstruct Aristotle's arguments in the Metaphysics. Armed with the arguments, Halper is able to see Aristotle's characteristic doctrines as conclusions. These latter are, for the most part, supported by showing that they resolve otherwise insoluble problems. Moreover, having Aristotle's arguments enables Halper to delimit those doctrines and to resolve the apparent contradiction in Aristotle's account of primary ousia, the classic problem of the Central Books. Although there is no way to make the Metaphysics easy, this very thorough treatment of the text succeeds in making it surprisingly intelligible.
Download or read book Religion of the Rustic Gods Vs the Gospel Truth written by Uche Ephraim Chuku and published by iUniverse. This book was released on 2007-05 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The motive of all customary religions is the same: to jointly serve the will of the wicked gods of the world. They also have one clear and simple message for enlightened humankind: to return to the Eden-like life of total spiritual blindness and shamelessness, presented in various ways by the various religious sects. The brave achievements of Adam and Eve in Eden-receiving the divine fruit of the knowledge of good and evil for humankind-still pose great worries for Yahweh/Allah and the other sneaky gods of the world. In retaliation, the gods try to reverse humankind's spiritual gains through the devious activities of human religion. Religion of the Rustic Gods Vs the Gospel Truth: Religion without Reason, Book 5 examines the teachings of the various major religions of the world. Uche E. Chuku asserts that in respect to humankind's quest for true spiritual salvation, Hinduism, Jainism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto, and all other religions are simply religions for nothing. What they espouse as mystical "awakening" is blindness to the basic facts of this life. Chuku discusses how the founders of all the customary religions of the world have become the "thieves and robbers" of human souls, and why seeking to unite with the gods of the world is seeking to share in their eternal spiritual damnation.

Download or read book Wyclif written by John Wycliffe and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2013 with total page 373 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "John Wyclif is known for translating the Vulgate Bible into English, and for arguing for the royal divestment of the church, the reduction of papal power and the elimination of the friars and against the doctrine of transubstantiation. His thought catalyzed the Lollard movement in England and provided an ideology for the Hussite revolution in Bohemia. Wyclif's Trialogus discusses divine power and knowledge, creation, virtues and vices, the Incarnation, redemption and the sacraments. It consists of a three-way conversation, which Wyclif wrote to familiarize priests and layfolk with the complex issues underlying Christian doctrine, and begins with formal philosophical theology, which moves into moral theology, concluding with a searing critique of the fourteenth-century ecclesiastical status quo. Stephen Lahey provides a complete English translation of all four books, and the 'Supplement to the Trialogue', which will be a valuable resource for scholars and students currently relying on selective translated extracts"--
