Download or read book The Religion of Law versus the Great I Am written by Witness Lee and published by Living Stream Ministry. This book was released on 2023-09-21 with total page 9 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this booklet compiled from Life-study of John, Witness Lee considers the case of the adulterous woman in John 8. This chapter reveals that among human beings there are two things: a religion and a living Person, the great I Am. Through this case, we see that “the religion of the law, as represented by the temple, cannot set people free from sin and its death, but that the Lord Jesus as the I Am, becoming the Son of Man lifted upon the cross for the serpent-poisoned people, can do what religion and law cannot do. The religion of law-keeping is versus the great I Am” (p. 1).

Upon arriving in Heaven, he discovers an idealized world of comfort, but the euphoria doesn't last, as he's forced to return to the rigors of school in an angel-training course. Soon he discovers that the many disappointments of his life have left him with a bitter disdain for all of mankind, and that an angel's existence might not be for him. Then he befriends Marley, a fellow angel-trainee. After a life of tragedy and addiction ending in overdose, she doesn't feel worthy of receiving the halo herself. But amidst a surreal world of asexual attraction, guardian spirits who curse like truck drivers, and a supreme being who might possibly enjoy waiting diner tables, the two start to help each other overcome their metaphysical and personal distress. It seems in death, you might learn there's more to you than you ever knew in life.

This book was released on 2024-07-15 with total page 245 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Obesity, anxiety, cheating, anger, bipolar disease, schizophrenia etc. could show up as a disease on surface, they mean nothing else except there is something wrong in one’s mind. As to what is wrong, it is really hard for ordinary people to know as often the problem is lurking in subconscious mind, which is beyond one’s recognition. Human as a species has existed for quite a long and long time, and established various mechanisms to cope with major disasters and conflicts. When one is facing powerful disaster and could not do anything about it, the problem would fade into subconscious mind of the person as it is a survival mechanism for the individual and the species, otherwise, the person involved could not survive the disaster. Unawareness does not mean the problem is gone, and it would not affect the life and work of the individual. When condition is right, the unsolved problem or conflict would show up as various illnesses. At that point psychological counseling comes to play a significant role as at the moment we still lack of basic understanding of mind and its working mechanism, though medicine has already made quite a progress. Through psychological counseling, the potential problem could be found, the unreleased anger or fear or stress could be released, thus the person could walk on a road of recovery. Traditional psychological counseling based on communication between the client and the counselor, in this book, a new method with a name of Image Arrangement is developed based on Family Constellations of Bert Hellinger, which could act as an X-ray machine of mind to uncover the potential problems in subconscious mind without reliance on group activities or small things as representatives in one’s subconscious mind. At the same time, based on their practices the authors develop 21 sets of golden sentences for curing to write and recite in one’s heart to solve twenty-one common psychological problems. Of course, there will be a huge difference in the effects under the guide of a counsellor and by oneself with the method. Thus, if possible, one should seek professional help to achieve maximal effect. Through Image Arrangement, one could give back the misaligned responsibility to the original owner and be only to himself, that is a proved way to solve many psychological problems.
