The probate records for Norfolk, Feet of Fines and Chancery Proceedings yielding no additional facts, it can merely be stated in regard to John Towne that he married Elizabeth (or Alice) before 1597, had two sons, Arthur and William, born in 1597 and 1599, and, on the death of his wife, married Margaret Walden in There are no further Towne items in the parish register until the marriage of William Towne in 1620.
