Book The Concept and the Meaning of I i nternational R r elations

Download or read book The Concept and the Meaning of I i nternational R r elations written by Casian Anton and published by Casian Anton. This book was released on 2024-10-25 with total page 95 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this research paper I have explored the concept of I(i)nternational R(r)elations with a focus on three key goals: (i) presenting two distinct methods of writing and their representations, (ii) examining the meaning associated with each method, and (iii) uncovering the process of concept creation based on the interaction between two terms. This research sets out to achieve the following objectives: (i) to resume the attempt to theorise the concept of ‘international relations’ from the etymological bases; (ii) ‘international relations’ is based on a wide range of concepts, and I want to show the sources of the creation of a concept; (iii) to supplement and contribute to the existing literature that discusses this concept; (iv) to contribute to the historical development of the International Relations interdiscipline; (v) to offer an answer to the crisis of ideas that haunts the science of IR. By achieving these objectives, this research paper makes a significant contribution to both the theoretical and practical understanding of I(i)nternational R(r)elations. The insights generated here provide a strong foundation for future research while addressing ongoing theoretical challenges. It is time to explore and understand the concept of I(i)nternational R(r)elations in its most authentic form. Third Edition, October 2024

Book Concept Meaning and Phenomenon I i nternational R r elations and New World Order

Download or read book Concept Meaning and Phenomenon I i nternational R r elations and New World Order written by Casian Anton and published by Casian Anton. This book was released on 2024-11-15 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This volume brings together two pivotal research papers that delve into distinct, yet interconnected themes: The Concept and the Meaning of I(i)nternational R(r)elations and The Concept, the Meaning, and the Phenomenon New World Order. These research papers, unified in one volume, share a common method of inquiry, drawing more inspiration from Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus than from Thomas Hobbes’s Elements of Natural and Political Law. The rigorous clarity, precision, and structured thought processes employed in both papers offer the ideal lens for examining complex and multidimensional concepts. Through an atomistic approach, we can dissect the meanings of terms and their interrelations to uncover deeper insights into these well-known ideas. A special chapter, ‘What is ‘Phenomenon’?’, exclusive to The Concept, the Meaning, and the Phenomenon New World Order, appears separately, offering further depth into this particular theme. The volume also concludes with a comparative chapter on the differences and similarities between I(i)nternational R(r)elations and New World Order. This volume not only achieves its objectives of providing fresh perspectives on I(i)nternational R(r)elations and the New World Order, but also completes a research journey that began in 2009 during my university studies. I am thrilled to present these ideas in a cohesive, thoughtful form, the culmination of years of passion and dedication. I trust that this volume will be valuable to both those embarking on their research in International Relations and seasoned scholars. I believe these research papers have the potential to inspire new ways of understanding the world and its evolving dynamics.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Preachers Present Arms is the result of many years of research in libraries, religious periodicals (including many obscure ones), newspaper clippings, innumerable pamphlets, sermons, and addresses of the war periods. Pertinent books on the subject run into the hundreds of volumes. Many of the startling facts in Preachers Present Arms are the result of personal interviews and correspondence both at home and abroad. Over the span of nearly two thousand years, the institution of the Christian church has been eager to convert the whole world to its own interpretation of the will of God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. In so doing it has been confronted with one crisis after another. Most of the time, as the pages of history will testify, it has floundered in utmost confusion. From one point of view, its gravest and most tragic years have been those in which this church identified itself and participated gladly in some of the bloodiest wars of all times, all to carry out the will of the Almighty. The Crusades and Holy Wars of the past are stark reminders. Yet, even in our own time these holy wars continue. This book is the startling and terrifying story of the part played in this country by the churches and the clergy during the first World War-the consciences of ministers conscripted, innocent men railroaded to prison, churches turned into recruiting stations. In Preachers Present Arms a skilled analyst of social forces examines the merciless regimentation of ideas and conduct inherent in modern warfare. His sobering account of the surrender of the ministers to war hysteria in that dark period of the world's history-from 1914 to 1918-is in no sense an attack upon the clergy. Rather, in demonstrating how preachers were caught in the vortex of war madness, the book transcends the immediate field of its inquiry and demonstrates the influence of war psychology on the leaders and molders of public opinion. Included in this thought-provoking volume is a brief description of the churches and the clergy in World War II, and an analysis of the situation with respect to organized religion and our participation in the war in Vietnam.

Book Limbic Ideological Dimension

Download or read book Limbic Ideological Dimension written by Vishal Sharma and published by Notion Press. This book was released on 2019-01-17 with total page 27 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book in brief explains a new theory on the Political Spectrum, where focus is put on the limbic ideological dimension and as to how it serves as an alternative to the left, right and centre dimensions of the political spectrum through the de facto ideology based emotional framework and the de jure global legal order system based framework. The Whole Brain Approach which studies the brain and the way it runs through its four major systems [Right, Left, Cerebral (Centre) & Limbic] is compared with the major dimensions of the political spectrum with the help of which the limbic is unraveled with the belief that this would eventually lead to the formation of the New Political Spectrum.

Book The Failure to Prevent World War I

Download or read book The Failure to Prevent World War I written by Hall Gardner and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2016-03-16 with total page 294 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: World War I represents one of the most studied, yet least understood, systemic conflicts in modern history. At the time, it was a major power war that was largely unexpected. This book refines and expands points made in the author’s earlier work on the failure to prevent World War I. It provides an alternative viewpoint to the thesis of Christopher Clark, Fritz Fischer, Paul Kennedy, among others, as to the war's long-term origins. By starting its analysis with the causes and consequences of the 1870-71 Franco-Prussian War and the German annexation of Alsace-Lorraine, the study systematically explores the key geostrategic, political-economic and socio-cultural-ideological disputes between France, Germany, Austria-Hungary, Italy, Russia, Japan, the United States and Great Britain, the nature of their foreign policy goals, alliance formations, arms rivalries, as well as the dynamics of the diplomatic process, so as to better explain the deeper roots of the 'Great War'. The book concludes with a discussion of the war's relevance and the diplomatic failure to forge a possible Anglo-German-French alliance, while pointing out how it took a second world war to realize Victor Hugo’s nineteenth-century vision of a United States of Europe-a vision now being challenged by financial crisis and Russia's annexation of Crimea.
