Se comienza enmarcando el asunto, señalando el contexto, trazando dos círculos concéntricos: la biografía conocida y la obra conservada del filósofo. Centrada la cuestión, se procede al «análisis e interpretación» de cuatro textos, aquellos en los que se mencionan, tematizan y sistematizan la justicia y el Derecho y otros términos relacionados (por ejemplo, ley, constitución, derechos, etc.): Retórica, Constitución de Atenas, Política y Ética Nicomáquea. El trabajo consiste en rastrear y localizar esos términos, y detectar y examinar las relaciones que el filósofo establece entre ellos, así como las aplicaciones que realiza de los mismos. A partir de ahí, se presentan unos «resultados» y, de estos, se sacan unas «conclusiones»: Aristóteles desarrolla una teoría —entendiendo teoría como visión— de la justicia y esboza una idea —entendiendo idea como imagen— del derecho. De esa teoría de la justicia se ofrece una visión de conjunto, con elementos, si no nuevos, poco habituales. La idea del Derecho, por lo general poco estudiada, permite ofrecer otra perspectiva —una comprensión diferente— de la filosofía jurídica de Aristóteles. In her illuminating interdisciplinary study of Spanish fiction of the "Silver Age," Roberta Johnson places this important body of Spanish literature in context through a synthesis of social, literary, and philosophical history. Her examination of the work of Miguel de Unamuno, Pio Baroja, Azorin, Ramon Perez de Ayala, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Gabriel Miro, Pedro Salinas, Rosa Chacel, and Benjamin Jarnes brings to light philosophical frictions and debates and opens new interpersonal and intertextual perspectives on many of the period's most canonical novels.
