The publications under this dissertation present the findings of investigations carried out to examine a. the niche via demonstration and analysis of four innovative decentralized technologies for treatment of household wastewater and recycling of water and nutrients in India, b. the socio-technical regime through the review of risk management regulations in India, and c. environmental pressures such as water scarcity, land degradation and climate change in the landscape regime in context to wastewater resource potential and adaptive policy for circular approaches in a review and comparative analysis of twelve countries.
