Auch die Rolle und Funktion von Ubersetzern Nietzsches als Mittler zwischen den Kulturen wird thematisiert. Weiterhin kommen spezielle Aspekte der Rezeptionsgeschichte im 20. Jahrhundert, etwa die bibliographische Erschliessung der Werke Nietzsches und die Prasenz Nietzsches in den sogenannten neuen Medien (Film und Internet) zur Sprache. In einem eigenen Themenblock wird das drangende Problem des Erhalts von Nietzsches Bibliothek angesprochen, die in der Herzogin Anna Amalia Bibliothek, Weimar, aufbewahrt wird. Die Frage nach dem Umgang mit Nietzsches Buchern wird also auf konservatorische und restauratorische Aspekte ausgedehnt. Der private, sehr gefahrdete Bucherbestand Friedrich Nietzsches gilt als ein besonders interessantes Beispiel einer Schriftstellerbibliothek des 19. Jahrhunderts.
