Afterwards, I brush myself off, evaluate the lesson learned and move on (something many women have trouble doing). Also, I try not to punish the next man that enters my life for the mistakes the previous guy made (huge mistake). For the last ten plus years, I have been paying close attention to the behavior of women and trying desperately to get a grip on why we continue to behave so stupidly when it comes to men. Is it that we just dont know? Or is it that we do know, but we choose to stay stuck in/on stupid? Youll have to answer these questions for yourself. Also, I interviewed men and asked them what things really bother them about women when it comes to relationships. Stuck on Stupid includes some of the most voiced concerns. After reading this book, ask your mate to read it and highlight the areas he feels you need improvement. I think youll be surprised. Dont worry, your mate wont highlight the whole book ?. Whenever youre in a relationship you have to be willing to grow and make changes. Its part of the process. Love requires it. Nevertheless, I hope that by the end of this book you will have gained some insight about your behavior and begin to make the necessary adjustments in your life to allow you to experience REAL love. They do it for money, status, preassure, sex, comfort, etc. Many of these people are not aware of them selves, are too immature to even be dating anyone seriously at all or suffer from mental issues that they have not properly addressed and therefore, the divorce rate is what it is today.It would be easy to assume that religion plays a big role in this or lack there of but that's not to blame in this issue in my opinion. It was thought that being "Christian" would mean a likelyhood of success in marriage but the truth is that Christians/believers are just as susceptible to divorce as everyone else. Why? People have issues and when people aren't aware of their issues or ignore them, their relationships fail... all of their relationships fail or suffer in some way. It's that simple.If you're a fan of reality tv shows such as "Basket Ball Wives", "Mob Wives", "Real Housewives", "Tough Love", "Bad Girls Club" "The Jersey Shore" "The Real World" or any other show that exploits their emotionally unstable casts members, you'll agree that certain people would be better off if they'd just work on themselves instead of getting into relationships. These people are a mess and though it makes for good television in some people's opinion, it brings to light that there is a need for self-awareness and emotional intelligence. These shows and those like them prove the point that I've been making for years. Some people are just too stupid and too shallow to be taken seriously in a committed relationship. The problem is that they don't know it and that is why I wrote this book.... ya dummy.
