From her perspective, blacks are on a road that can only lead to destruction. Therefore, Sheila is convinced that an awakening is needed and that someone must sound the alarm.

Xingshi Hengyan is considered to be a huaben (话本), that is, short novel or novella. The huaben genre has been around since the Song dynasty (960-1279).
