On that map the line is continued from where it is sup posed to meet the continent, and passes along the coast to Juneau, to, as outlined in No. 2; but does not comply with the requirements of the Treaty by remaining ten (10) laurine leagues from the ocean coast. Besides, not being in accordance with the wording of the Treaty, much of the line. Of demarcation north of latitude 56' is through an impracticable country abounding in glaciers, precipices and deep 1a1111es, entirely unsuited for an international boundary line.
