Zindell has to answer all these questions, many of which he is still asking his self. Zindell's greatest dilemma is over explaining the many questions over right and wrong. The balance between the needs of the many, over the need of his main focus, his young son. He must rationalize the greater good, and often the lesser of two evils. Through his contact with many of worlds he encounters as many different customs and cultures. Some as extreme as it gets, all with the belief that theirs is right. Zindell must try to accept these many worlds, and explain them to his growing son.

I kept falling into sin and making dumb decisions that kept me from being successful. How could I be so smart and still be so stupid that I can't beat this thing? Self-pity began to gain strength. I got depressed, at one point I was homeless, and I gave up on myself. I walked away from God many times. One day my mother prayed with me and gave me a Bible and told me to read Romans. I later became a Minister. I couldn't get it right because I couldn't get past my addiction and my own self-interests. How could this be? I am a Minister. Who does the man of God go to when he is failing? The answer is clearly God. I became convinced that my testimony may help some other Ministers who struggle with the same things I did. Like me, they may be waiting on God and hoping He hears them, too! One day I accepted that even Preachers can fail. I wasn't doing anything constructive with my life at that time. I decided to trust God. I didn't know if He would do it, but I prayed anyway. I soon believed that if I asked God for faith, and told people the truth, God was going to change me. Today, I am a Minister in good standing in a church in Orange County, CA and the CEO of a nonprofit called A Touch of Love Works. When you read A Preacher's Confession, you discover that in spite of everything that is wrong with me, there is a side of me that wants to make the world a better place and I will do my part. Fought by a heroic woman struggling to save her tiny community through a landmark lawsuit, this battle, which led all the way to the halls of Congress, has implications for environmentally conscious people across the world. The story begins with Patricia Bragg in the tiny community of Pie. When a deep mine drained her neighbors' wells, Bragg heeded her grandmother's admonition to "fight for what you believe in" and led the battle to save their drinking water. Though she and her friends quickly convinced state mining officials to force the coal company to provide new wells, Bragg's fight had only just begun. Soon large-scale mining began on the mountains behind her beloved hollow. Fearing what the blasting off of mountaintops would do to the humble homes below, she joined a lawsuit being pursued by attorney Joe Lovett, the first case he had ever handled. In the case against the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Bragg v. Robertson), federal judge Charles Haden II shocked the coal industry by granting victory to Joe Lovett and Patricia Bragg and temporarily halting the practice of mountaintop removal. While Lovett battled in court, Bragg sought other ways to protect the resources and safety of coalfield communities, all the while recognizing that coal mining was the lifeblood of her community, even of her own family (her husband is a disabled miner). The years of Bragg v. Robertson bitterly divided the coalfields and left many bewildered by the legal wrangling. One of the state's largest mines shut down because of the case, leaving hardworking miners out of work, at least temporarily. Despite hurtful words from members of her church, Patricia Bragg battled on, making the two-hour trek to the legislature in Charleston, over and over, to ask for better controls on mine blasting. There Bragg and her friends won support from delegate Arley Johnson, himself a survivor of one of the coalfield's greatest disasters.
