Book Seed Prayer Sowing Kingdom Seeds in Your Life That Will Manifest Productive Fruit

Download or read book Seed Prayer Sowing Kingdom Seeds in Your Life That Will Manifest Productive Fruit written by Robert Cathers and published by Outskirts Press. This book was released on 2021-10-29 with total page 58 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Then Jesus said to them, "Don't you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable." (Mark 4:13) Jesus gives us the key to understanding how the kingdom works through the parable of the Sower in Mark, Chapter 4. He said, "Understand this parable and you will understand all parables". Throughout this parable, the seed is the one constant, as it is the ground that changes. Jesus did not say that some of us have good ground and some of us have bad ground. He teaches us that we can transform our ground. Understanding this parable is the first step, however the key is learning how to traverse the different grounds in order to reach the good ground. Seed Prayer, prayer that combines speaking scripture (sowing seeds) and praying in the Holy Spirit (watering the seeds sown), applies the power of this parable to transform the ground we are sowing into, so that our seed can bear fruit. Seed prayer was developed over a period of years at our church in Northridge. Several members of our congregation gathered with me every morning and we all prayed for several hours together. This Seed Prayer revelation came out of those times of prayer. Understanding the revelation of the parable of the sower and applying its power, which is Seed Prayer, is the key to receiving other revelations of God and manifesting them in your lives. I urge you follow this principle of prayer daily, and as you do, your ground will be cultivated over time and transformed into good ground where your seed sown will produce fruit. I promise it will change your lives for the better, as it changed ours.

Book Sowing Seeds of Your Wishes Reaping the Fruits of Your Work

Download or read book Sowing Seeds of Your Wishes Reaping the Fruits of Your Work written by Wusu Takyi and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2014-05-22 with total page 87 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sowing and Reaping is one of the most invoked principles from the Bible. In as much as it is an essential principle it is either misunderstood or deliberately misinterpreted. Either misunderstood or misinterpreted, it does not assist the sincere truth seeker in his effort to faithfully apply the principle for his benefit to glorify God. To misunderstand it or buy into the misinterpreted forms of it denies a person what would have been his rightful reward if he understood and applied the right Biblical version of the law. Worse still, the distorted version lays the basis for potentially firm separation of that person from God. This happens when a person realises that what he has long been promised to reap if he sows into a ministry or pastors life does not materialise. Something which from day one of the promise was not going to happen because every seed brings forth the fruit of its kind but not the fruit of other seed which is not of its kind. This book is not primarily concerned about the interpreters who consciously distort the message of grace as indicated in Jude 1: 4, but concerned about the faithful who have misunderstood the law and even fallen prey to the interpreters spoken about by Jude. The faithful is here in this book delivered from sowing wrong seeds and born again into sowing the right seeds which brings forth their kind by the immutable power of the just God. The illuminating power of God enshrined in his word is used to shed light on life changing seeds and the fruits they bear.

Book excerpt: In Genesis 1, God spoke of making (hu)man in his image and after his likeness. In Genesis 2, God formed (hu)man off the dust of the ground and breathe into his nostrils the breath of life. Just as in the beginning, God spoke his word and it became to pass. But when it came to the earth, God spoke that it would bring forth fruit from whatever was planted in it, and whatever grew from what was planted, the seed of it was in the fruit of what would grow. God planted his word and his Spirit in us from the very beginning. But another seed was planted--the seed of disobedience. So now we have to choose what words we will receive to grow in us to produce whatever type of fruit, for the seed is in that fruit. So in receiving the Word of God as planting seeds, you are now the by-product of the first fruits. His seed is within to produce after his kind.

Book excerpt: The perfect gift! A specially priced, beautifully designed hardcover edition of The Joy of the Gospel with a foreword by Robert Barron and an afterword by James Martin, SJ. “The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus… In this Exhortation I wish to encourage the Christian faithful to embark upon a new chapter of evangelization marked by this joy, while pointing out new paths for the Church’s journey in years to come.” – Pope Francis This special edition of Pope Francis's popular message of hope explores themes that are important for believers in the 21st century. Examining the many obstacles to faith and what can be done to overcome those hurdles, he emphasizes the importance of service to God and all his creation. Advocating for “the homeless, the addicted, refugees, indigenous peoples, the elderly who are increasingly isolated and abandoned,” the Holy Father shows us how to respond to poverty and current economic challenges that affect us locally and globally. Ultimately, Pope Francis demonstrates how to develop a more personal relationship with Jesus Christ, “to recognize the traces of God’s Spirit in events great and small.” Profound in its insight, yet warm and accessible in its tone, The Joy of the Gospel is a call to action to live a life motivated by divine love and, in turn, to experience heaven on earth. Book excerpt: When God's people pray, they want answers. Yet many Christians don't know how to pray both effectively - in a way that gets results - and humbly - in a way that aligns with God's will. Prayer is a powerful weapon against the true adversaries of God's people: principalities, powers, dark rulers and spiritual wickedness in high places. These forces are the perpetrators of all kinds of evil: Addiction, abuse, poverty and spiritual bondage run rampant through families, churches, cities and nations. What can believers do to battle these forces? They can pray. Not just any prayer: the prayer of petition, known throughout Christian history as the prayer that gets results. Prayer of Petition explores this powerful prayer in detail, from the many examples found in God's Word to more recent instances of incredible miracles ushered in by this prayer. Readers will learn the biblical definitions of petition and supplication, and examine the key components of preparation, thanksgiving and humility. As readers learn to petition the Ruler of All, their confidence that God will prevail - no matter what - will grow, and as they learn to rest in His promises, peace will reign over their hearts through the coming revival.

Book The Prophetic Parables of Matthew 13

Download or read book The Prophetic Parables of Matthew 13 written by Arthur Pink and published by Darolt Books. This book was released on 2020-03-10 with total page 116 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Prophetic Parables of Matthew 13 is a message of meditation based on the Bible and written by Arthur Walkington Pink (1 April 1886 – 15 July 1952) was an English Bible teacher who sparked a renewed interest in the exposition of Calvinism or Reformed Theology. Little known in his own lifetime, Pink became "one of the most influential evangelical authors in the second half of the twentieth century." Arthur Walkington Pink was born in Nottingham, England, to a corn merchant, a devout non-conformist of uncertain denomination, though probably a Congregationalist. Otherwise, almost nothing is known of Pink's childhood or education except that he had some ability and training in music. As a young man, Pink joined the Theosophical Society and apparently rose to enough prominence within its ranks that Annie Besant, its head, offered to admit him to its leadership circle.[4] In 1908 he renounced Theosophy for evangelical Christianity. Desiring to become a minister but unwilling to attend a liberal theological college in England, Pink very briefly studied at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago in 1910 before taking the pastorate of the Congregational church in Silverton, Colorado. In 1912 Pink left Silverton, probably for California, and then took a joint pastorate of churches in rural Burkesville and Albany, Kentucky. In 1916, he married Vera E. Russell (1893–1962), who had been reared in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Pink's next pastorate seems to have been in Scottsville. Then the newlyweds moved in 1917 to Spartanburg, South Carolina, where Pink became pastor of Northside Baptist Church. By this time Pink had become acquainted with prominent dispensationalist Fundamentalists, such as Harry Ironside and Arno C. Gaebelein, and his first two books, published in 1917 and 1918, were in agreement with that theological position. Yet Pink's views were changing, and during these years he also wrote the first edition of The Sovereignty of God (1918), which argued that God did not love sinners and had deliberately created "unto damnation" those who would not accept Christ. Whether because of his Calvinistic views, his nearly incredible studiousness, his weakened health, or his lack of sociability, Pink left Spartanburg in 1919 believing that God would "have me give myself to writing." But Pink then seems next to have taught the Bible with some success in California for a tent evangelist named Thompson while continuing his intense study of Puritan writings.
