Download or read book The Keramion Lost and Found written by Philip E. Dayvault and published by Morgan James Publishing. This book was released on 2016-03-05 with total page 321 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Vivid historical writing . . . a fascinating and factual defense for the authenticity of the famous Shroud” (Christian Newswire). The Shroud of Turin, the traditional burial cloth of Jesus Christ, is either authentic or not. The Keramion, Lost and Found provides new answers to settle that centuries-old debate. In 2000, Philip Dayvault, a former FBI Special Agent, began a quest for ancient oil lamps in a faraway land, but it soon became an epic journey that gave rise to the questions… Could a small mosaic found in a faraway museum possibly have anything to do with numerous ancient, classical depictions of Jesus Christ? Could it bear an actual image of the God-Man, an image of God incarnate; and, perhaps, be the earliest known portrait image of Jesus Christ? Could it confirm vital, key elements of a 1700-year-old legend surrounding early Christianity? Could it possibly corroborate the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin as the first century burial cloth of Jesus Christ? Could the small mosaic, the ISA Tile, be the actual historical Keramion? Experience the providential discovery of the “key,” a beautiful mosaic that unlocks some of the mysteries of the Shroud and ancient, classical depictions of Jesus Christ in sacred art. Dayvault instinctively conducted this research from an investigative perspective. Now, ample evidence from this resolute and intriguing pursuit of the truth is finally revealed. With his guide and translator, Hafize, Dayvault traversed Turkey in search of ancient oil lamps, but found something much more illuminating. Be advised, though, you may also find something, perhaps, that you have been seeking all your life . . . the Truth!

Book excerpt: Medical Geology The key to understanding the relationship between the geological environment and human health Medical geology deals with of the impact of environmental factors on the health of individual human beings and communities. In particular, it studies environmental exposure to both macro- and micronutrients in the geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere—respectively, soil, water, and airborne dust—which may positively or negatively impact human growth, development, and overall health. The insights contributed by this burgeoning field can aid not only in individual medical cases, but also in assessing disproportionately impacted communities and addressing global medical inequality. Medical Geology: En route to One Health is among the first books to address this vital subject by summarizing recent research in this field. It also serves as an introduction to the multidisciplinary One Health methodology, which unites medical, geological, and environmental insights in one continuous approach to public health. Medical Geology readers will also find: An explanation of the influence of the environment on nutrient availability Case studies of well-documented links between endemic diseases and environmental conditions A systematic analysis of the causes of essential element deficiencies in different world regions Medical Geology is an essential overview of the field, for advanced students as well as medical, environmental, or geological researchers who wish to understand the complex relationship between the geological environment and human health.

Book Gobekli Tepe Genesis of the Gods

Download or read book Gobekli Tepe Genesis of the Gods written by Andrew Collins and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2014-05-01 with total page 464 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: An exploration of the megalithic complex at Göbekli Tepe, who built it, and how it gave rise to legends regarding the foundations of civilization • Details the layout, architecture, and exquisite carvings at Göbekli Tepe • Explores how it was built as a reaction to a global cataclysm • Explains that it was the Watchers of the Book of Enoch and the Anunnaki gods of Sumerian tradition who created it • Reveals the location of the remains of the Garden of Eden in the same region Built at the end of the last ice age, the mysterious stone temple complex of Göbekli Tepe in Turkey is one of the greatest challenges to 21st century archaeology. As much as 7,000 years older than the Great Pyramid and Stonehenge, its strange buildings and rings of T-shaped monoliths--built with stones weighing from 10 to 15 tons--show a level of sophistication and artistic achievement unmatched until the rise of the great civilizations of the ancient world, Sumer, Egypt, and Babylon. Chronicling his travels to Göbekli Tepe and surrounding sites, Andrew Collins details the layout, architecture, and exquisite relief carvings of ice age animals and human forms found at this 12,000-year-old megalithic complex, now recognized as the oldest stone architecture in the world. He explores how it was built as a reaction to a global cataclysm--the Great Flood in the Bible--and explains how it served as a gateway and map to the sky-world, the place of first creation, reached via a bright star in the constellation of Cygnus. He reveals those behind its construction as the Watchers of the Book of Enoch and the Anunnaki gods of Sumerian tradition. Unveiling Göbekli Tepe’s foundational role in the rise of civilization, Collins shows how it is connected to humanity’s creation in the Garden of Eden and the secrets Adam passed to his son Seth, the founder of an angelic race called the Sethites. In his search for Adam’s legendary Cave of Treasures, the author discovers the Garden of Eden and the remains of the Tree of Life--in the same sacred region where Göbekli Tepe is being uncovered today.
