This book was released on 2023-03-26 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sahih Al Bukhari is a collection of sayings and deeds of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), also known as the sunnah. The reports of the Prophet's sayings and deeds are called ahadith. Bukhari lived a couple of centuries after the Prophet's death and worked extremely hard to collect his ahadith. Each report in his collection was checked for compatibility with the Qur'an, and the veracity of the chain of reporters had to be painstakingly established. Bukhari's collection is recognized by the overwhelming majority of the Muslim world to be one of the most authentic collections of the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). Imam Al Bukhari (full name Abu Abdullah Muhammad bin Ismail bin Ibrahim bin al-Mughira al-Ja'fai) was born in 194 A.H. in Bukhara, Uzbekistan and died in 256 A.H. His collection of hadith is considered second to none. He spent sixteen years compiling it, and ended up with 2,602 hadith (9,082 with repetition). His criteria for acceptance into the collection were amongst the most stringent of all the scholars of ahadith. Sahih Al Bukhari is one of the Kutub al-Sittah (six major hadith collections) of Sunni Islam, compiled by a Muslim scholar Muhammad al-Bukhari. It was completed around 846 CE / 232 AH. Sunni Muslims view this as one of the two most trusted collections of hadith along with Sahih Muslim. The Arabic word sahih translates as authentic or correct. Sahih al-Bukhari, together with Sahih Muslim is known as Sahihayn. Sahih Al Bukhari contains around 2,600 ahadith without repetitions and 7,563 ahadith with repetitions.[6][citation needed] It is an important book in Islamic literature. It is the first book to only include the ahadith without interpretations of the companions (ra) and their successors. Al-Bukhari is considered to be the most authentic source of Hadith. In this Volume 4 of 9, you will find the following books: Book 51: Wills & Testaments Book 52: Fighting for the Cause of Allah Book 53: One-fifth of booty to the cause of Allah SWT Book 54: Beginning of Creation Book 55: Prophets Book 56: Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (SAW) and his Companions

Book excerpt: In this gripping narrative history, Lesley Hazleton tells the tragic story at the heart of the ongoing rivalry between the Sunni and Shia branches of Islam, a rift that dominates the news now more than ever. Even as Muhammad lay dying, the battle over who would take control of the new Islamic nation had begun, beginning a succession crisis marked by power grabs, assassination, political intrigue, and passionate faith. Soon Islam was embroiled in civil war, pitting its founder's controversial wife Aisha against his son-in-law Ali, and shattering Muhammad’s ideal of unity. Combining meticulous research with compelling storytelling, After the Prophet explores the volatile intersection of religion and politics, psychology and culture, and history and current events. It is an indispensable guide to the depth and power of the Shia–Sunni split.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Sahih Bukhari collection of Hadiths is considered to be the most authentic collection of the teachings and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. These Prophetic traditions, or hadith, were collected by the Uzbek Muslim scholar Muhammad al-Bukhari, after being transmitted orally for generations. Al-Bukhari traveled widely throughout the Abbasid empire from the age of 16, collecting those traditions he thought trustworthy. It is said that al-Bukhari collected over 300,000 hadith and included only 2,602 traditions in his Sahih. At the time when Bukhari saw [the earlier] works and conveyed them, he found them, in their presentation, combining between what would be considered sahih (correct) and hasan (good) and that many of them included daʻīf (weak) hadith. This aroused his interest in compiling hadith whose authenticity was beyond doubt. What further strengthened his resolve was something his teacher, hadith scholar Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Hanthalee - better known as Ishaq Ibn Rahwayh - had said. Muhammad ibn Ismaa'eel al-Bukhari said, "We were with Ishaq Ibn Rahwayh who said, 'If only you would compile a book of only authentic narrations of the Prophet.' This suggestion remained in my heart so I began compiling the Sahih." Bukhari also said, "I saw the Prophet in a dream and it was as if I was standing in front of him. In my hand was a fan with which I was protecting him. I asked some dream interpreters, who said to me, 'You will protect him from lies.' This is what compelled me to produce the Sahih."

Download or read book Summarized Sahih Al Bukhari written by IDP Research Division and published by Islamic Digital Publishing. This book was released on 2020-09-23 with total page 883 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This Summarized version of Sahih Al-Bukhâri is an English translation of the compilation entitled "At-Tajrid As-Sarih" by Imam Zain-ud-Deen Ahmad bin 'Abdul-Lateef Az-Zubaidi. The original compilation (in nine volumes) contains more than 7500 Ahadith with repetitions and duplicates. The summarized version (in one volume) is about one quarter the size of the original and contains 2230 Ahadith without repetitions. Also, most of the duplicate Ahadith from different chains (with slight variations) have been removed and only one has been kept. Furthermore, most of the sub-narrators are often omitted when possible and sometimes only the first narrator in each chain is kept. NOTE: The numbering style has been altered slightly to includes both the Summarized and Original versions. So the Hadith numbering of the Summarized version from numbers 1 to 2230 is shown in squared brackets, while the reference to the Original version is shown directly after it by depicting the Volume number it is found in, the Book title of that Volume, and the Hadith number of that specific Book. For example: In the Book of "Fasting (Saum)", you will find the first narration beginning with "[919] Volume 3, Book 31, Hadith 118: Narrated.... etc." This makes an excellent read for the average Muslim who would like to increase their knowledge and get to know more about the authentic narrations of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, may peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him. IMPORTANT: The blessings which a person confers to the Prophet (s) every time mention is made to him has been omitted throughout this book (i.e. "sallallâhu 'alaihi wasallam" or "peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him."). The reader is humbly requested to do so every time he/she comes across any mention being made to him. Visit our eBook Store at: www.payhip.com/idpebooks Contact us at: [email protected]

Book excerpt: Since the invention of pen and paper, four books have been studied and analyzed more than all others: the Torah, the Gospel, the Qur'an, and Sahih Al-Bukhari. While there have been numerous translations of the first three, there has never been a complete translation of Sahih Al-Bukhari—due to its immense size and utter complexity—until now. After more than ten years of continuous research and translation by multiple layers of linguists, the Arabic Virtual Translation Center is pleased to announce the publication of the first-ever complete English translation of Sahih Al-Bukhari with full sanad and commentary. This is a full and accurate translation of Sahih Al-Bukhari from cover to cover with the addition of explanatory notes, a glossary of every term, and biographies of all characters. Sahih Al-Bukhari is the biggest collection of authentic hadiths. It lays the foundation of Islam and encompasses all the sharia laws. It details the building blocks of the religion and those who constructed them from the Prophet to the Sahabah to the Tabi`un and everyone who influenced them. It is a well-organized labyrinth of Islamic history that describes every precept and explains it thoroughly. Virtually all books about Islam, from those taught in kindergarten to the ones lectured at Azhar University, are interpretations of Sahih Al-Bukhari. Now, with this encyclopedia in hand, we have the opportunity not to rely solely on the works of shady characters, revisionists, or those with ulterior motives. We can retrieve information from its original source in raw format, connect all the dots, and draw our own conclusions. The entire encyclopedia is in full color and is easy to read and understand. It is recommended that it be viewed on a color monitor to easily distinguish between the different features. It is highly advised to peruse the extensive introduction to hadith by the translators before studying Sahih Al-Bukhari. This digital version has links to every entry and similar hadiths to facilitate the comprehension of each story in full. The encyclopedia is under constant review and is continuously revised and updated. Each update is assigned a distinct version number. It is only once in a generation that a must-read encyclopedia of this magnitude comes to life, and all of us can benefit from it. Benefit from it in this life and the life to come.
