This is the story of sheer resilience, guts, and maneuvering adversaries with a positive, progressive attitude and moving ahead for success and enlightenment. This all could be achieved from the education and upbringing of parents who value investment in ethics. The milestone of success may seem to be far and difficult, but it is achievable. The adversaries and the situations strengthen Paras and give him experience. Thus, from being a medical sales representative, he reached the pinnacle of success as he traveled to more than 70 countries across Africa, Asia, and Latin/Central Americas. by leading high-performance teams globally gaining experience and absorbing the essence of various cultures. Life is beyond worldly gains; real success is when one realizes and resolves the query “Who I am? What am I here for? And why am I here?” Finally, all his successes were penned down in the form of a book when he recuperated from a heart attack, CABG – Bypass Heart Surgery at the age of 45 years and had the beautiful divine experience of enlightenment after the NDE (near-death experience) while dangling from the tubes. The enlightenment drives Paras to play his Karma even better in this second inning given by the Almighty. An interesting story must be read.

Book The Illusion of Invincibility

Download or read book The Illusion of Invincibility written by Paul Williams and published by Mango. This book was released on 2019-11-19 with total page 286 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A GLIMPSE BEHIND THE FACADE OF SUCCESS In The Illusion of Invincibility, Paul Williams and Andreas Krebs take a no-punches-held look at the stories we tell ourselves about business success. The rags-to-riches tale is tempting, but we don't have to search far to see that most organizations rise for a time, only to experience a dramatic fall from grace. Just look at some of the companies that used to be household names: Nokia, AOL, Pan Am, Woolworth and Blockbuster. Move from good to great: You'll learn the secrets to clear-eyed, value-driven leadership with stories from top managers from international companies, major family businesses, start-ups, consulting firms, the public sector, and NGOs. They offer lessons on how to be a successful and reflective boss in an age of digitization and disruption. Each chapter includes a "stress test" to help you to take an honest look at your own organization and yourself. Can leaders today be inspired by the Incas? You may be surprised. When the authors added a few days to a business trip to Peru, instead of relaxing, they found themselves exploring one of the greatest civilizations in human history...with unexpected lessons about successful businesses and great leadership. The Illusion of Invincibility examines the why of success and failure. It's a smart, funny, and radical look at how to build and sustain a great organization, inspired by those who have done it well...in today's world and five hundred years ago.

This book was released on 2022-04-22T22:59:00Z with total page 68 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Please note: This is a companion version & not the original book. Sample Book Insights: #1 Emotions are a source of great resourcefulness. If you can learn to focus and work with the information inside each of your emotion states, you can become intimately connected to the source of your intelligence and heal your most profound wounds. #2 Empathy is a powerful tool that can help us understand others, but it can also be a double-edged sword. While empaths are very sensitive and intuitive, they can also get right to the center of any issue, but in a culture that can’t figure out what emotions are, empaths are difficult to understand. #3 I missed the important early stage of turning off my preverbal empathic skills in order to develop the verbal skills of emotional subterfuge. As a result, I could not listen to the dangerous ideas surrounding emotions and accept them. I had to find my own way. #4 Empathic skills allow us to see the world as alive with knowledge and meaning. They help us listen to the meaning underneath words, understand living things and nature, and connect with the world around us.
