Many from all over the world are beginning to ask this, because they can see for themselves the evidences of the end times all around them. "Revelation Unleashed: Re-Discovering The Blessed Hope," answers this question and many others, as we inch closer and closer to the first "Great and Terrible Day of the Lord's Wrath," which is about to be unleashed on the world any day now. Are you ready for what is about to happen? Did you know that a massive worldwide earthquake along with millions of fires was predicted to occur in the last days? Did you know that the "Great Tribulation" begins with these events among others? Craig will not only show you proof that these things are about to occur, but also to give hope and encouragement to those who are looking for answers, as well as an escape from the troubles to come.

Book excerpt: Walk through the gospel records of the “bold confrontations” of Jesus and discover how to use your newfound knowledge of the person of Jesus to defend the biblical truth of the Christian faith. Do you have any idea who Jesus really is? “What you think of Jesus Christ will thoroughly color how you think about everything else,” writes John MacArthur. This is a critical truth in the life of every believer. Your view of Jesus affects the way you view God, the world, and every one of your decisions. These days, Jesus is often portrayed as a pacifist, a philanthropist, or a docile teacher. He strikes a plastic--and sometimes pathetic--pose in the minds of many. Some prefer the meek and mild Jesus who heals the sick, calms fears, and speaks of peace and goodwill. These things do represent a portion of the Messiah. But tragically, too many have never been exposed to the rest of him. They have never seen a full 360-degree view of the Savior. His boldness in the face of confrontation and why that matters. Until now. Abridged from his classic bestseller, The Jesus You Can’t Ignore, Jesus Unleashed takes a revealing walk through the gospel records. Like an investigative journalist on a mission, author and teacher John MacArthur shows you a remarkable and compelling picture of Jesus unleashed.

Book Revelation

  • Author : Lawrence Webb
  • Publisher :
  • Release : 2014-08-25
  • ISBN : 9781500874575
  • Pages : 160 pages

Download or read book Revelation written by Lawrence Webb and published by . This book was released on 2014-08-25 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: As the subtitle indicates, this present book shows Revelation is a book of hope rather than fear. People often import popular notions about things that simply are not in the book, such as Antichrist and the Rapture. Or they exaggerate elements such as the Battle of Armageddon. Professor Lawrence Webb's writing style as a religion editor and radio speaker will help casual readers and church lay members discover what actually is in the book and what is not. Admittedly, Revelation is not an easy read: A red dragon knocks a third of the stars out of the sky with his tail, and a seven-headed beast has the mysterious number 666. An army of locusts from the bottomless pit look like horses but have men's faces, women's hair, lion's teeth, and tails that sting like scorpions. A human army marches two hundred million strong. With all this, you may not recognize hope. But hope is what Revelation is about. In chapters 4-5, John has a vision of God, worshiped by all His creatures. And Christ is “a Lamb standing as though it had been slain.” In 11:15, before the decisive battle of Armageddon even begins, we are told, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever." Visions of great disasters unfold, but in the final revelation of God's new heaven and new earth, all is beauty and bliss forever. The future is in the hands of a loving God who will wipe away all tears (21:4), and Jesus Christ is declared “King of kings and Lord of lords” (19:16).

Book excerpt: What are we to do with the Book of Revelation? Some Christians skim the book and glean a superficial understanding of the text; others spiritualize Revelation or label it as unworthy of concentrated study. Many simply ignore John's final letter entirely. But by neglecting Revelation, the church is missing out on the blessing that the Lord bestows upon those willing to give the book a patient hearing-the thrill of hope. In The Thrill of Hope, Bruce Green walks with the Apostle John through the open door of heaven and witnesses the wonderful blending of history and hope. God's people may be oppressed, but evil won't prevail. Wrongs will be righted. Those who have the faith and courage to stand strong will be vindicated. However, victory doesn't happen by chance; it is the promised result of a strong and steadfast hope given by God. Accessible and easy to understand, The Thrill of Hope provides an enlightening and encouraging analysis of the book of Revelation. In short, digestible chapters, Green unveils the major themes of John's message, challenging us to live in hope and holiness. Helpful FAQ sections are interspersed throughout the book, and discussion questions following each chapter make it suitable for Bible class, small group, and individual studies. Those who are waist deep in the woes of the world will be lifted from the mire by a renewed confidence in the sovereign Christ-the One who reigns in hope.

Book The Gospels of the Book of Revelation

Download or read book The Gospels of the Book of Revelation written by Jeremy Brister and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2024-04-26 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In "The Gospels of the Book of Revelation," author Jeremy Brister embarks on a profound journey of rediscovery, challenging conventional understanding of how to read the sacred text. Rather than reading Revelation in chronological order, Jeremy unveils a revolutionary approach: identifying four main visions, or "gospels," within the text, each revealing a distinct aspect of Jesus' prophesied return. Through meticulous research and profound insight, he presents a groundbreaking thesis: just as there are four gospels chronicling the first coming of Jesus, so too are there four main visions within Revelation that foretell his triumphant return. Delving beyond the surface, Jeremy explores the intricate details of these visions, illuminating the smaller detailed visions nested in and surrounding the main visions. In "The Gospels of the Book of Revelation," readers are invited to explore the profound parallels between the earthly ministry of Jesus and the cosmic events heralding his second advent. This thought-provoking exploration challenges conventional interpretations and offers a fresh perspective on the timeless truths contained within scripture. Prepare to embark on a journey of discovery that will forever transform your understanding of the Book of Revelation and the glorious return of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
