Según dicha concepción, éste no sería en realidad un objeto propio; y lo que conoce mos bajo este nombre, un grupo y género de feno menos, los cuales, cuando se les estudia en su pura apariencia externa - dicen - son objeto de la Histo ria; y lo son de la Filosofía, cuando tomamos en consideración las causas que los producen. Mas es evidente que el Conocimiento de estas causas de terminantes de los fenómenos constituye la historia (interna) de los mismos; de la cual forma sólo parte, y parte subordinada, el de sus exteriores aparien cias. Según aquel sentido, pues, todo conocimiento del Derecho sería, en realidad, histórico, contra lo mismo que se pretende.
