Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Book 4 is the final conclusion to a study on the remnant in Scripture that has taken me almost twenty years ago to complete. This final phase was driven by compelling questions about the end of time because traditional Christian theology was simply unsatisfying. The mysterious time following the Millennial Kingdom was especially enticing. When I began to tackle the prophetic symbolism of Israel's annual festivals a roadblock virtually broke and I was flooded with new insights. Using ancient methods of searching the Scriptures, and exploring linguistic clues in the original Greek and Hebrew text, this project has uncovered a breathtaking understanding of God and how He is drawing all of His people into His righteous presence.

Book The Lost Remnant

Download or read book The Lost Remnant written by Randall Floyd and published by Randall Floyd. This book was released on 2020-10-03 with total page 130 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Don’t read this book. Not if you want to maintain your protected status as an ignorant human. The truth wouldn’t make any sense, anyways. It would just melt your brain, cause you to involuntarily assume the fetal position (and mumble things about butterflies and rainbows), turn you into a depressed and colorful pile of goo, and make you wish you were a dung beetle. You’ll definitely be happier with your current idea of what’s real, and no one likes to be a pile of goo, no matter the color. Believe me, I’ve asked several former-humans-now-piles of goo. Hopefully this is enough to dissuade you from reading further. Actually, I would wager three nacho-flavored jackalopes that you’ll stop reading this book description right now. … … … If you’re still reading this, I have one question for you? Why? You should have moved on to another book already. Haven’t I been clear? Turn back now, while you still have a choice. Once you read this book, and you find out the truth about … … them … ... they will hunt you and they will find you. You won’t even know you’ve been ensnared by their magic. You will never be the same. And you may end up like James Peters. ... 5 years after his father disappeared, James was still puzzled. The authorities had pronounced his father dead months after he'd vanished, but James knew he was still alive, he could feel it in his bones. It’s just that no one believes a 13-year-old. Then, someone turned up … … someone James had forgotten. He was the only person around when James’ dad vanished, and the guy doesn’t want to have anything to do with James. But there’s more. Weird things happen around the man. Things that shouldn’t. Things that look an awful lot like magic. Will James figure out what happened to his father? Or will he end up suffering the same fate? If you purchase this book to find out it may be the last sane thing you ever do. Get it now. But don't say you haven't been warned.

Book excerpt: Does your church make you uncomfortable? It’s easy to dream about the “perfect” church—a church that sings just the right songs set to just the right music before the pastor preaches just the right sermon to a room filled with just the right mix of people who happen to agree with you on just about everything. Chances are your church doesn’t quite look like that. But what if instead of searching for a church that makes us comfortable, we learned to love our church, even when it’s challenging? What if some of the discomfort that we often experience is actually good for us? This book is a call to embrace the uncomfortable aspects of Christian community, whether that means believing difficult truths, pursuing difficult holiness, or loving difficult people—all for the sake of the gospel, God’s glory, and our joy.

After all, any problem can be solved with the right application of force.Even a road to hell paved with good intentions.Right?Warning and minor spoiler: This novel contains graphic violence, undefined relationships/harem, unconventional opinions/beliefs, and a hero who is as tactful as a dog at a cat show. Book Passing the Heavenly Gift

Download or read book Passing the Heavenly Gift written by Denver C. Snuffer Jr and published by Denver C. Snuffer JR.. This book was released on 2011-08-01 with total page 528 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: After being a Mormon for forty years, the author was excommunicated by the LDS Church because he would not withdraw publication of this book. In this book he explains how Mormonism has undergone four distinct phases. The first began in 1820 and ended with Joseph Smith's death in 1844. The second began upon Joseph Smith's death and ended with abandonment of plural marriage, publicly in 1890 and privately in 1904. In the third phase Mormonism denounced as apostasy its practice of plural wives, marking the first time an orthodox practice became grounds for excommunication. The fourth phase began with David O. McKay and is still underway. In it Mormonism has adopted corporate management techniques to consolidate and direct central church decision-making. The first phase was innovative and expansive, continually adding doctrine, scripture, teachings and ordinances. Subsequent phases have curtailed, abandoned, even denounced earlier teaching and doctrine. Phases two through four have all abandoned doctrine. Growth in these subsequent phases has been defined in terms of political influence, financial gains, cultural inroads, and population growth; while the underlying religion has been curtailed. Today, marketing the institution has become more important to Mormon success than preserving the original religious content. The changes from phase to phase have completely transformed Mormonism, sharing a vocabulary but redefining the terms. Modern Mormonism has now institutionalized change. For the first time in this book Mormonism is candidly described in terms which track the changes by examining doctrine, teachings and practices. Interestingly, the passing of the heavenly gift was anticipated by Joseph Smith's prophecies and the Book of Mormon.
